I ordered afternoon tea for my friend's baby shower. Absolutely incredible service and display! Sarah was so so helpful from start to finish. One of my friends is gluten free and did a beautiful selection for her food so she wasn't left out. Ordered the baby bottles and baby biscuits for extra touches. Would highly recommend and happily use again!! Very reasonable and so glad we used for the occasion. Flawless service xx
Just been for Sunday lunch 5 of us one of us wanted gluten free they had nothing gluten free our dinners came out before our cutlery dinner said crackling with pork no crackling on 3 of the pork dinners dinners wasnโt to bad just think the service was a bit crap
The Old Crown,Wow, the meals are spot on plenty of choice even on a Sunday. We were a table of 4 and all had something different and all meals were excellent. The Sunday roast is amazing with plenty of meat and vegetables. Service is very polite and spot on. The place is spotless and has a friendly atmosphere. Although too chilly to sit outside( we were there in March),in the summer this would be a lovely place to bring the dog with a seating area near the bar and a large field to the back with plenty of benches and for the dogs to play. They also do a doggy menu.
There if a gluten free menu too.
Just had an excellent lunch, a at private party. Food was outstanding and excellent awareness of coeliac. If the normal menu is to of this standard this is an outstanding venue. Thank you.
Visited Tamworth Five Guys on a Saturday night, the lad that served us; Tyler was very professional, catered amazing for coeliac disease and made sure no contamination- was friendly and made us feel very welcome, deffo deserves a promotion ๐๐ผ
Regular weekly treat for me and daughter. Lunchtime special sushi platter and miso soup for me (gluten and dairy free safe yipeee) is amazing. Ramen for daughter. Always so filling.
I have recently been diagnosed with celiac disease and eating out recently has been so overwhelming. Iโve been to restaurants that claim to have gluten free options but unfortunately due to lack of awareness of cross contamination has made me extremely sick.
The deanery on the other hand. What an exceptional business. They donโt have any gluten free alternatives. But I was out with my family and I decided to see if they had anything safe to eat. I literally just said I have celiac disease, what is safe for me to eat? And the server went out of her way to check in the kitchens for me. They said the breakfast would be safe for me to eat, and said as the sausages canโt be guaranteed they wouldnโt recommend eating them.
They swapped out anything that might make me sick for something else and made sure that my families toast was kept absolutely separate from my food. I was so happy, and I havenโt fallen ill today at all. I will return again as the food itself is absolutely spectacular, so yummy!
Thank you so much for your kindness it meant so much to me!
