Gluten free: menu was pretty lacking. Our rolls were a bit bland and they won't adjust their specials, such as the $70 for Two dinner, to incorporate gluten free options even when it's a simple swap. That enough soured me to not want to come back. I found it a bit overpriced for the food we got, considering it was plainer than the regular rolls but cost the same. Go elsewhere, like Kru or Fish Face. Servers were great, it's just an administrative issue on how they run their menu for those of us with special dietary needs.
Visited on a busy Friday night and was immediately greeted by a friendly welcome in. We had a group of 5, most of us gluten free, and the staff took great care in ensuring our food was handled properly. The pizzas were amazing, but the service is what really shines for us. Someone who I can only assume to be a manager walked up to our group, apologizing that one of the pizzas had pesto added to it by mistake. My partner didn't mind at all and actually enjoyed the pesto on his pizza. But to make up for the mistake, he later returned with a dessert pizza on the house, made gluten free so everyone in our group could enjoy. Thank you all so much, we'll be back! đ
You can't go wrong at this lovely upscale establishment. You can come in jeans and a t-shirt. The decor is inviting but what will keep you coming back is the leveled up cocktails and the delicious food. Staff is super friendly! They often are booked for private event so keep that in mind when coming. You may want to call in advance. Did I mention that most of their menu is gluten free?!?
Wow is this place a treat for coffee lovers. They offer complex, delicious roasts in well crafted drinks. They offer samples at the counter and offer some lovely pastries (gluten free options!) I love a good roaster and this place knocked my socks off! My husband got the hot chocolate and loved it as well!

Itâs probably the best Chinese food restaurant near this area! I have celiac and they actually accommodate GF options. Food is super authentic/tasty. Ordered honey walnut prawns, green bean, Sichuan beef. Definitely recommend. The service was only ok.
A few years ago, my nail guy suggested this spot for a new place to check out for date night and it did not disappoint.
We made this our actual go-to for low key but social vibes for more than date night. It became our spot for our 1st Valentines, celebration of a merch launch and just a chill spot for US time.
The food is spot on, accommodating most of the time, options if gluten free, allergy friendly and just for preference! They have a very COOL. and Chill vibe that suits a lot of moods! I havenât checked out their weekend sports bar atmosphere but Iâve yet to hear anything bad or any red flags that it doesnât deliver!
Our fave plates are the salmon, steak, fries (sweet potato & fancy regular) and their pasta!
Perfect for celebrating our 13th anniversary! James was attentive and the entire staff made us feel special. The fresh oysters were the best I've ever had, and the clarified strawberry bourbon cocktail was incredible. As someone with celiac disease, I was thrilled with the delicious gluten-free options and knowledgeable staff. We can't wait to return!
This place is great! They make delicious sandwiches of all options (meat lovers, vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free). The staff are super friendly. My only thing is the place is hot and has poor ventilation (just smells like toasted bread on overkill). I normally get it to go and eat it at home, because I don't want my clothes to smell and I feel nauseous with strong smells especially after eating. They do have some turbo fans to help with the heat and smell, but in my opinion it's not doing a good enough job for proper ventilation.
I recommend The Reading Rainbow on wheat with banana peppers, red onion, lettuce, and tomatoes!
Travelling through Sacramento. Got a burger and fries. It was very good. People were friendly even though very busy. They also had gluten free buns which I must have.
Do not eat here if you have celiac disease or canât tolerate gluten. Many items are marked GF but they contain gluten. Items are not gluten-free and are not celiac-safe if they are made in a fryer that is shared with gluten-containing items.
At least two games were broken but werenât marked as broken, so they took money even though you could not play.
We had an amazing dining experience. The food was beyond delicious with many options including gluten free appetizers and entrees. The staff was so pleasant and knowledgeable. Must visit.
I came here a few weeks ago for a birthday brunch with a party of ten and had one of the most disappointing dining experiences Iâve had in a long time. So much so, Iâm still thinking and talking about how awful it was.
All of the food arrived at the table at room temperature, as if it had been sitting out too long on a counter. This was especially disconcerting when considering the hollandaise sauce, which had congealed. This happened on multiple individuals orders and was both unsafe and revolting. Many orders went largely uneaten. Every espresso drink ordered was wrong and tasted watered down.
Also! They repeatedly told the person in my party with celiacs that the gluten free bun they ordered with their burger was definitely gluten free, even though the buns looked a little too nice to be gluten free. Turns out the staff lied and SHE GOT SICK!
The servers were nice enough, but management was incredibly disorganized and disinterested in assisting. Donât come here if you value not getting food poisoned. And definitely donât come here if you have celiacs. They will lie to your face and poison you.
I came to DOCO with a friend who is gluten free dairy free and sugar free and we were not planning to get anything to eat because of all the dietary restrictions but then we saw this and it was so good. My friend had not had ice cream in 8 months but she was able to have ice cream from here and she was so happy đ I will say it is pricey for ice cream but it is worth it
A night owlâs đŠ dream!! Yes, they are open late!! If you are craving for homemade cookies, this is the spot. They have a handful of different flavors of cookies, brownies and if you prefer to have your cookies a la mode, they also sell ice cream. They also have gluten free and vegan cookies. Iâve also ordered a cake online and delivered to a friendâs! This quaint shop is more of a grab and go, while you can wait till you get home to eat them, there are also tables and chairs in the center of the mall area for you to enjoy the freshly baked cookies while they are still warm. I recommend getting the six pack, because ya canât eat JUST one đȘ
Great service, the food was incredible. I was glad to know that they are able to make their food gluten free by request (and have some great gluten free options without needing to make a request, like the cauliflower bites)
Iâm gluten and dairy-free due to celiac disease and a dairy allergy, and Iâve never been sick from eating here. Super yummy spot, and very helpful staff. Ask questions if you have food restrictions because not everything is safe, but there are quite a few things to choose from given my personal limitations.
It's OK for an in the middle of the city seafood restaurant. Spendy! Worth the experience & the foods not bad! Servers & staff are great. Atmosphere is loud, crowded & a LOT of tv's for watching sports. I wish the menus were better explanations & prices known. How much we were ordering was a weird mystery & price, even after the waiter's awesome explanations. One crab is about 1 pound for $65. You can order different sizes of things; .5 pound, 1 pound, 1.5 pound the menu doesnt really say that & we didn't know the price of ea until the bill came. Everything that's boiled can be gluten free. The menu doesn't say this either.. But it's celiac safe!
Honestly, we always thoroughly enjoy our visit here. I'm really impressed that they have gluten free options. Staffs always friendly and professional. The sauces are fantastic especially Alla Vodka. Just a great upscale dining experience every time.
First time experience. Very clean and open restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the whole menu. The chips and guacamole were great!!! Home made chips. The mole enchiladas were so tasty and fresh. All the food was delicious. They have vegan options as well. They can accommodate gluten-free free option's as well.
I absolutely love this place. Sourdough crust!!! I am gluten intolerant and I haven't had pizza in ......forever. But sourdough works for gluten sensitivity. Great pizza!!! Great crust! Will be back soon!!
Food and service were great. I had delicious koja original, but the atmosphere was a bit strange. We were dining late at 9:30 pm and we felt a bit like in a noisy club with the front bar and another bar downstairs. I am gluten intolerant and the staff was very knowledgeable about gluten so that was a big plus
They make these amazing âbeer winesâ that are all gluten free and taste like craft beers. Closest thing I have found to serving that in Sacramento area. Not to mention the wines are delicious/ locally grown organic. Super friendly owner and cozy location to bring some food to, enjoy the wine/beer, and check out the incredible old book library!
Friendly service, super tasty food, so many gluten free options. The lettuce wraps deeeeelighted my mouth and the samusa soup landed in an incredibly warm, cozy, comforting way - despite me being in a bustling, lively restaurant on the corner of 16th and K. 4 stars for atmosphere because I am old and once the restaurant got busy, I could no longer hear my companion.
