They were very careful about cross contamination with the gluten free request. They knew the details of their ingredients and the level of consciousness about gluten is virtually unmatched in the region.
My family had a wonderful experience at Mom & Pop's! First of all, the dairy-free & gluten free options were awesome. Second, the staff was super friendly, everyone loved their ice cream flavors, and we enjoyed the outdoor seating! Delicious!!
The service was great. Even during a busy lunch we were seated promptly and the servers were timely in bringing our drinks and taking our order. The food was fresh and good. It was nice to see a decent selection of Gluten free options as well.
We are so in love with this place! Came here on a Sunday morning as the sun was streaming through the top windows. The feel is so amazing. We are dairy and gluten free, and although they do not have gluten free bread to sub in, we were able to compose an amazing plate of potato fritter, with arugula, roasted mushroom, tomatoes, avocado, and a poached egg. Magnificent! Our conventional food family members also enjoyed steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy, and eggs Benny. A perfect ending to our Mankato weekend. Thank you to all of the staff at Nolabelle!
They had the perfect menu to accommodate my gluten free and dairy free diet! It was easy to order something I could eat because the Vegan and GF options were clearly marked. Both the bowl and the salad I had were delicious
Madi was an amazing server!! Super prompt and respectful. Amazing experience. I have celiac disease and she was so understanding of my allergy. She made sure the cooks could make my food gluten free and made me feel very comfortable with my situation. Ps. GET THE BRUSSELS!!!!! The best Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had. Would definitely come again!!!!!
Great food, great service, Al around just the best place to eat!! When I order food here they make sure it is done perfectly, as I have celiac disease and they are on top of making sure my food is also safe to eat for me!
Amazing food! My husband and I are not vegetarians, but we love us a good vegetarian meal! (And trust me, those are hard to come by 🙌) ..India Palace is where to go for such a variety of food and flavor! I have also tasted their non vegetarian meals and have also tasted their vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free meals and let me tell you this place is no joke! Flavor upon flavor for every kind of person weather it is vegan, vegetarian or gluten free (or all 3). So many options and flavors for a variety of customers! 😊 this will be forever our new favorite spot to go to!
The wings are phenomenal and very well priced, you can easily come just for the wings, they have great flavor choices.
I’ve gotten the Elvis burger with a gluten free bun and it is amazing, such a treat, I highly recommend it to anyone wether you like peanut butter on your burger or not. The garlic aioli is superb.
I do not recommend the coleslaw, maybe it was a fluke I usually love coleslaw but I will not order it again, but there are many options to choose from can’t wait to go back and try some of their other stuff!
Loved it!
Yummy! And 100% gluten-free!
Two things that would make it better:
- offer samples of the base flavors since the kids didn’t end up liking all the flavors they chose
- huge missed opportunity to not have color-changing spoons that turn a cool color when they get cold
They're always so on it with being careful about how they handle my food with having celiacs disease. I appreciate the workers at this location! I haven't gotten sick here, but I have at another location
Lunch was fantastic! My wife has a Gluten and Dairy allergy and the server made sure to check ingredients and alert kitchen staff. Awesome service and great food. We will be back soon.
Excellent food and wonderfully dog friendly on the patio. Jordan treated our dog like a new friend - we had a lovely time! (Lou recommends the peanut butter banana dog cookies!) Great gluten free selection clearly listed on the menu as well.

Had a great experience ordering a gluten free pizza. My order was ready super quick and Siena made stopping into Toppers a great experience! Would definitely recommend!!
I rarely eat out. I am gluten-free so it’s a special treat when I take the risk to do so. I had a long day and hadn’t eaten supper so stopped around 8 PM to get a burger and a shake on the way home.. The shake came out like a soupy mess with chunks of vanilla custard in it. The reason I love culvers is that thick Velvety custard. The store was busy and the traffic was difficult because of construction while they redo the drive-through. I chose not to go back and have it corrected due to time and burger would be cold by then.. I dumped the shake out, which wasn’t even full to start with, After making a video. I talked to the manager the next time I was in the area and he replaced it promptly with an apology and he himself made it!!
Everybody makes mistakes but the fact that they are willing to correct it makes me a very happy customer, Despite the initial disappointment.
Gave 4 ⭐️ for atmosphere just because of construction, but I know it’s not avoidable.
5 ⭐️ over all. Good job 👏
Ordered to go. Gluten free option was nice but cost me more for the sub and they did not offer a gluten free cookie with my child's meal deal. They gave me the option to spend even more (on top of the gluten free up charge for the deal) to get their gluten free cookie. I think the gluten free option should come with everything gluten free.
The staff at the Coffee Hag are very kind and considerate. I was looking for a gluten free lunch and they were helpful with the menu and offered me a sample of the soup and potato salad before I made my purchase. The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere can't be beat.
I’m so sad. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese and bacon meal. I got this after work and I was starving. I ordered on the app and got my food pretty quick which was nice because it was busy and around 11:30 pm. I checked my food bag and everything looked great. I’m celiac and I personally won’t go into anaphylactic shock from having something with gluten or cross contamination so I still go to McDonald’s. I ordered a meal that had a very specific quarter pounder with cheese and bacon, plain with cheese, extra lettuce, and no bun. I understand that it was late at night and my order was annoying (I used to work at Mcdonald’s but not this location) but DUDE. I checked my order before leaving and I read the order slip on my special quarter pounder with cheese box. Everything on the slip was correct so I assumed that the burger would be correct. I had my fries and they were fresh and REALLY GOOD. I then went home and opened my quarter pounder with cheese box. I had gotten a burger that had the correct patty, pickles, extra lettuce, a filet o fish bun, ketchup, no cheese, and no bacon. I think that they just gave me the wrong order so yikes oopsie but it did have to correct order slip on the burger box. I will go back to this location because accidents happen and stuff gets hard when it’s late but I will fully check my order before leaving.
Food is great and I have many choices about how it is made. Their gluten-free crust bakes up well and they have always given the extra effort of using a designated pan and changing their gloves before working with my food. Feels a bit odd to rate atmosphere of a place I am only in to wait for my food to be prepared, but employees get along well and like their jobs. This definitely makes for a good atmosphere
ZERO STARS. I have celiac disease, and the man up front assured me that any sushi roll could be made gluten free. He assured me three different times throughout the process that what I ordered was gluten free, and that he even supposedly checked with the chef, and he said it was gluten free. My receipt even stated that the order was supposed to be gluten free.
Trusting this, I got home with my food and started to eat my roll before noticing crunchy stuff on the inside. I called the store to confirm that this was a safe crunchy product, perhaps made with rice flour? The woman told me no, the crunchy stuff was definitely made with gluten, and on top of that, the spicy salmon in my roll also had gluten in it. This food was in NO WAY safe for me to consume. It's absolutely ridiculous for them to try to claim the food is gluten free when most of the employees don't even know what that means.
Celiac disease is a very serious medical condition. I have been sick for the past week, and studies show that it can take 3-6 months for the intestines to fully heal from a single exposure like this. You are seriously harming people by conducting business this way.
I'd also like to point out that beyond the allergen safety, this place was pretty gross. It seems like they try to hide the grime with dim lighting, but you can still tell. I didn't venture further than the front entry/counter, but my shoes were sticking to the floor with every step. This place is filthy and needs a serious health inspection.
Great deals and prices. Good selection but wish there were more organic and gluten free options. Store is limited on space so I think they are doing very well with what they have.
Fantastic food - some of the best chips and salsa I’ve had! Margaritas are delish, and the staff is uber friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when selecting my gluten-free options! Could not ask for a better experience!
Back again, (update at 1 year). One of the few restaurants I will even dine at due to my gluten allergy. The Boss Woman always knows exactly what this is/what it requires and how to make sure I stay safe and still have a delicious meal and experience!
We are so thankful to have Pita Pit! I have a wheat allergy, it's so hard to find safe food. I have gotten very ill from cross contamination at other establishments in town. The gluten free wraps and salads are amazing! My whole family loves Pita Pit. Everything is always fresh. I forgot my mask, I called from my vehicle and Kesha was happy to do curbside pickup. Pita Pit for life!
I always stop at Massad's when in Mankato, probably for 20 years. The guys at the counter were super helpful with ideas to do a gluten-free shawarma. I went with the salad+pickles over the deconstructed pita because it was more of a meal. I also got tabbouleh. All the veggies were crisp and the meal was full of great flavors. Some of the best food in Mankato
My husband and I now live out of state but we LOVE this little restaurant. We have many fond memories of past dates spent here. Some of our all-time favorites are their shawarma pizza (which you can order gluten-free) and the charcuterie board. We miss this place! It’s a Mankato gem.
