Friendly service, menu was family friendly- gluten free menu was available- waitstaff asked about allergens. Lots of seating, wasn’t busy when we went so service was quick.
$10-20 /pp
To say this place is one of the best health focused restaurants is an understatement. Not only were the ingredients all natural and delicious but they were consistent. I also had the best gluten free chocolate cookie from there! Would recommend!

Went to try gluten free and vegan options. I got the vegan Oreo cake and my mom got the gluten free caramel coffee cake - they were delicious! Like beyond good, I would never know that cake was vegan. I even saved half the Oreo cake in the hotel fridge, had it the next day and it was even better than I remembered. We are going to try to go back before we leave NYC and try more of the vegan / gf options

This has become our absolute go-to spot whenever we’re heading to Broadway for a show. Whether we’re seeing a matinee or catching an evening performance, this restaurant is perfectly located—just a short, easy walk to and from most of the major theaters. The convenience alone would make it worth a visit, but it’s the consistently great food and service that keep us coming back.
The menu is broad enough to please a variety of tastes, and we’ve never been disappointed. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty meal or something on the lighter side, there’s always a solid selection. They offer gluten-free and vegetarian options, and there are even a few vegetable-forward and salad choices for those seeking vegan fare. It’s refreshing to find a place in the Theater District that doesn’t treat dietary restrictions like an afterthought.
Service is always prompt, professional, and genuinely friendly—even when they’re busy. It’s clear the staff are used to handling pre-show crowds, and they keep things moving efficiently without making you feel rushed.
There’s plenty of seating, and they’re able to accommodate groups of various sizes without much trouble. That said, if you’re with a larger party, I’d highly recommend making a reservation in advance. While the wait is typically reasonable, especially considering the area, bigger groups may wait a bit longer during peak hours.
As for the atmosphere, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a bustling, popular spot in Midtown Manhattan: energetic, lively, and often filled with a mix of tourists and locals discussing the shows they’ve just seen or are about to see. If you’re looking for a quiet, intimate dining experience, this probably isn’t the place—but if you’re in the mood to soak up the electric pre-show energy of the Broadway scene, it’s ideal.
All in all, this place strikes the perfect balance between location, quality, and value. It’s a reliable favorite that helps round out the Broadway experience in the best way possible. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Theater District.
Amazing vegan, including glutenfree options for somebody who has been including gluten free for almost 20 years and new to dairy free and vegan. This was a great place to start off with. They explained everything they're very caring staff relaxing atmosphere that make you feel like family, I would highly recommend this to anybody.
They are great with the gluten free pizza. They put it in its own pan and use a dedicated cutter. There is always a chance of cross contamination as it is not a dedicated facility, but their staff is and took good care of me.
I'll be going back here. They have non dairy options. Loved that they had macadamia nut milk option. They also have gluten-free snack options. The place is comfy. Starbucks who?
The attention is incredible. Very attentive. And the best part is that the service is super fast. I had the chance to go twice, and they serve the food very quickly. Another great thing is that they have gluten-free options.
First time in NYC and walking distance from Times Square. It was great to find a gluten-free place that I could eat at. I wish I would’ve tried the broth but the food was good.
Food was very good, served family style. Service was excellent, we had a very large group. The staff was very informative about the gluten status in the foods they served as I have a wheat allergy. They even offered me a GF flan in place of the churros they served to everyone else. Would definitely go back.
I booked for table for 1. I was sat at the bar, which I didn’t mind, I understood I was only one person and I didn’t want to take a full table.
However, after being seated, the bar man was ridiculously rude to me, telling me the seat was reserved. I explained I had just been sat down by one of their colleagues, to which he disregarded and made me feel so unwelcome as if I was lying to him. I asked another staff member what the issue was and if I was allowed to sit here, to which, they were also extremely rude, shrugged their shoulders at me and told me not to block the walkway and then walked off.
I have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before. The singers were brilliant, but a lot of them only sing to the tables and ignore the people at the bar so it is like you are watching a show you were not invited to.
The food was alright, nothing to shout about but they do a lot of gluten free options which is hard to come about in NY so that is a bonus. Otherwise, it was very clear the restaurant takes advantage of the tourists and has no real care in their service towards the customers, just happy to take their money and tips.
Delicious, extremely careful prepping and cooking separately

We just held a work event here last week for 22 people. I cannot say enough good things about this place! The food is incredible, the location is amazing and the ambiance and lighting are incredibly relaxing. Great drink list, and many vegan/vegetarian and gluten-free options. Emma planned our event and she was fantastic to work with! Not only was she always quick to reply, she had a wonderful attitude and a dedication to elevated customer service. It is rare to find that these days. Highly recommend.
Please read all the low reviews before coming here. I made the mistake of not doing that.
What a disappointment. If you are looking for good pastries and gluten free options this is not the place for you. It took more than an hour to get our items. When they brought back my sandwich - I had to ask if the bread was gluten free and the waiter didn't know. So he took it back and I had to wait another hour. I waited two hours for a salmon gluten free sandwich.
It's really disgusting inside. Dirty dishes piled and reusing water bottle for customers? Yuck!
The quiche was watered down and the breads all felt a day old. There are no seats available.
I would not recommend this place.
After a Broadway show, I had the pleasure of dining at La Masseria, and it was an absolute 5-star experience. We sat in the loft area toward the back, where the service was nothing short of phenomenal—attentive, warm, and truly top-tier.
We started with the stuffed eggplant with smoked mozzarella, which was simply to die for. For my entrée, I had the gluten-free penne pasta (without bacon), and my friend enjoyed the large rigatoni pasta with short rib ragout—both dishes were cooked to perfection. Even though I was stuffed, we couldn’t resist trying the warm apple tarts with raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream—delicious, though I had to take the rest of my pasta to go.
Oh, and let’s talk about the breads—fabulous!
This place is a true gem, and I’m already planning my next visit. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Phenomenal service above and beyond what I expected for a restaurant of this class. The Berries and Bubbles are a must try. I love that they offered popcorn as a gluten-free alternative to a bread basket. I had sushi as an appetizer, which was everything I was hoping for. Their entrees were expertly cooked as well, I can't wait to try more of their menu.
Their "outdoor" dining area is fully enclosed, protected from the wind, equipped with space heaters, and is well decorated.
My must stop every time I’m in NYC to see a show. It’s the perfect spot for a quick snack or sandwich after the show. Staff is friendly and accommodating and always make me feel welcome. Gluten free options including black and white cookies!
I was so excited to see Ben’s Fast Food on Uber Eats. I fell in love with Ben’s Fast Food in Oakland - this food is good I would make for myself. This location is strategically placed between Times Square and Hells Kitchen… where there are really no choices if you want gluten free, clean and better for you food without added sugars. Perfect portions, perfect flavors! Thank you Ben! This is not a franchise either - you can see the quality and love put into the food. Sorry no pics cause I ate it all!
We had dinner here to celebrate my mum's birthday before going to a Broadway show. The service was great and the food was delicious! We had a pre-theatre menu, which was good value, and everything tasted so good. One person in our group has a gluten allergy; they had a GF menu which was nice. I would definitely recommend this place!
The food was great. The Arroz con Pollo and Arroz with vegetables were wonderful. The menu was easy to navigate for gluten-free/vegan diners. There was a little chaos and a slightly long wait during the pre-theater rush, but that is to be expected. We will definitely be back.
We had a great time here, large family dinner, had reservation and were taken in right on time, everyone was happy with the food, allergies were very well addressed, and our server was wonderful! My daughter and I did the lobster and burger combo on gluten free bun, was delicious! Recommend!
Fabulous but one dinner of fish dry and tasteless. Lambchops, mousaka shrimp excellent. Deserts vee nice. Great if gluten free for adaptations and staff suggestions
My partner and I were very pleasantly surprised by this place. We sat at the bar before seeing Six (which was excellent). The bartenders were very friendly. I ordered a mocktail, which the bartender graciously made and which was just juices - it was ok. But my partner had 2 espresso martinis and said they were very tasty. They smelled wonderful.
The real pleasure of this experience was the food. We ordered appetizers (Small Plates and Pub Grub menus).
First, the Irish Curry Fries (Small Plates menu). The yellow curry is exactly what I remember from a trip to Dublin and satisfied a craving I have had for nearly a decade! My Indian partner was also pleasantly surprised with how much he liked the curry lol. My only desire was that the fries would be thinner - they are thick cut, which can be useful to spoon up the curry, but I prefer thin and crispy for this dish.
Second, the Fiddler Nachos with steak (Pub Grub menu). I almost didn't say anything to my partner because it seemed so crazy and basic, but he was the first to say so and I was happy to agree: Are these the best nachos I've ever had?! Possibly. The steak was soft and cooked just fine for the dish, chopped into bite size and not strips. There seemed to be a creamy cheese dip that had a nice flavor, and was not just cheese sauce. There was also real cheese, melted well. The guac and other additions to the nachos were tasty and fresh. But best of all, ALL of the chips stayed crispy and 0 were soggy. Perhaps the only thing I'd change is, if the chips are made in house, give a generous finish of salt when they come out of the fryer, and a good squeeze of fresh lime all over the dish right before serving. It would make all the flavors stand out a little more.
Finally, we also got the Potato Crusted Chicken Tenders (Small Plates menu). As someone who only eats gluten free, this was a delight. Crispy, tasty, juicy, big portion, and the honey mustard was fine too - but nothing too special.
All in all, a great experience and if we are around there before another show, we may stop back in.
