Got there right after they opened on a Thursday. Service was great. Super clean and nice place. Ordered a decaf cappuccino which was very good as well as the Lunker Biscuit. Amazing food, great service, reasonable prices. Gluten free biscuit was fantastic.
I love pizza, especially wood fire pizza. This was the absolute best pizza Iโve ever had. I had the Sicilian pizza. One of the people with me had a gluten free pizza (I canโt remember what kind). She also really liked hers. The gluten free crust is made there.
We also enjoyed the hot artichoke dip.
Have been here several times. Regular donuts are great. The gluten free donuts are so dense and heavy though, they are a bit much for me. Almost like raw dough consistency. Great coffee!!
This was the halfway point to meet up with our son to celebrate some family birthdays. We waited at the bar and had some drinks and an appetizer. (super excited that they had chambord and could make my favorite drink!) We put our name on the wait list and moved to a table closer to the time of his arrival. The staff was very accommodating in helping us make sure we had a table when he arrived. The place is super laid back with a lot of locals in to watch the game on a Saturday night. The food was all yummy and there were gluten free options for 2 family members. Everything is very reasonably priced. If you are in a hurry, don't go here, it is not a fast food restaurant. If you are looking to sit back and relax, this is the spot. We will be back!
Oooh this is a fantastic spot!! If you're not stopping by Cousins Cuban while visiting wnc you are most definitely missing out!! Menu is mostly all gluten free, the table hot sauce is super delicious and really should be bottled and sold, all the dishes were top notch and coffee was great too. Highly highly recommend!!
There was a long line, but worth it. Tiny shop with 2 tables. Many vegan and gluten free options. They have gluten free sugar cones! The vegan vanilla was outstanding.
Update: Still a 5 star. Food was amazing. Service great and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed, laid back community space. They were able to accommodate a gluten free dietary need.
Everything about Bush Farmhouse is 5 star. The service was on point. We felt taken care of without being rushed. We had the oxtail stew, chicken liver pate and pork ribs. Black Mountain is lucky to have this gem. Watch out, Asheville, the food scene is moving out!
I had lunch here, which was very casual. Order at the bar and they bring it to your table along with a carafe of water. So I can't comment on the service. The food was pretty amazing, likely the best sandwich I've eaten and my husband agreed, and this was with gluten free bread. But quite expensive to pay $15-20 for a sandwich that doesn't come with a side. We split the fries which were also very good. The building looks great, you can tell they spent a lot to renovate it.
Would give a 3.5 if I could. Was just okay. Appreciated the fact that their crepes were gluten free but after ordering wished they offered a non gluten free option as they were just okay. Cheese tamale had about 2 quarter sized drops of cheese. Soup was good but overpriced. Pinot was good.
Great menu and delicious food. Daily specials and options for gluten free and vegetarian. The outdoor dining was a little disappointing. Very small area, overlooked a gravel lot and a dumpster.
Driving along with no civilization and the night closing in on me, I started searching โfood near meโ and here we are MONDAY and nothing is open. I start to panic I might have to eat from a gas station or vending machine. I suddenly spy the oasis of Black Mountain Pepperoniโs Gourmet Pizza. I am judging and saying, โoh great, the cliche strip mallโฆโ will it be a hidden gem? Well, yes, my people! It is a new staple in my mountain list of mom and pop stops. Thin crust was not good, but the hand tossed made in house crust was too die for. I chose the Great White which had Alfredo sauce and I added garlic Parmesan. Then it had mozzarella and basil. I added kalamata. Iโm extra and I made the most bomb-azzz pizza ever. True delight. They had so many other good things I wanted to try like dessert pizza, calzones and salads. Vegetarian items clearly marked and it was easy to create a veg meal. They have gluten free crust and tons of cool art on the walls. I will always remember this pizza and love that they were so friendly. Donโt miss the homemade ranch. Crust totally 10/10.

Best burger Iโve ever had. Hands down. No question. It will be hard to eat burgers elsewhere after this experience!
They even had gluten-free buns so that gf folks can still enjoy a burger the way it was intended to be eaten! The fries were a delicious side to the burger as well. Fun, local options for drinks too.
Super friendly staff and a great outdoor space here too. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and Iโll definitely be back myself!
My wife and I went specifically on Saturday for the Gluten Free cup cakes as they list on their website they have them in Tuesday and Saturdayโs. When we got there we where very disappointed to learn they did not bother to make any this Saturday. I understand it was the day after a holiday, but if thatโs the case put something on your website as people come from a long way for the gluten free cupcakes.
Best meal Iโve had in North Carolina so far. I had the Brussel sprouts (amazing), trout (fabulous combo of wood fired trout and crunchy bits of nuts with sweet oranges) and buttermilk pie (I didnโt even know this existed until now). All were better than the last. We sat next to a fire place which made the atmosphere cozy and romantic. Prices were on the higher side but definitely worth every penny. My boyfriend and I spent $100 after tip for wine, appetizer, entree and shared dessert. I was surprised to find out the chef is only 25 years old. Even more impressive. Very happy I stumbled across one of the latest restaurants open in black mountain. Highly recommend. Unfortunately not many vegetarian options but I did over hear that there were gluten free options.
The food was fantastic, and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. We showed up for lunch and got one breakfast taco (Migas) and 2 for lunch, Kirb Service and the Morita. Highly recommend stopping in for a bite any time of day if youโre roaming around Black Mountain. They have gluten free and vegetarian options marked on the menu as well. Oh, they have adult beverages too.
Great people, great purpose. The prices are fair and the food is decent. Have yet to try any drinks, and have heard good things of the chai tea but less so of the coffee, mostly by locals. Appreciate the gluten free and other dietary options they have, the bread is store brought bread but other than that.
We stayed in the Elizabeth's Attic suite and enjoyed our stay! We loved the charm of the Inn and our room (we had a gas fireplace and large soaker tub ๐๐ผ). The food was amazing (they even had gluten-free options!). Giving it 4-stars because the location felt a little strange, being in the middle of a neighborhood. The location of the Inn is within walking distance of downtown Black Mountain.
What a great microbrewery. Their seltzer ("Omni Solaris") is delicious - and a great option for gluten -free or -sensitive folks - and " the blackest mountain" is an incredible stout, especially for as light (abv) as it is. Definitely worth a visit if you're in or near black mountain

So happy we found this place off the beaten path. I am gluten free and rarely get to drink at breweries, so this was a nice change. I loved the meads! Mothervine was my favorite because I like a sweet drink. Our tender was very friendly and helpful. We will be back!
We've just come from first experience dining at Annie's Culinary Garden. Annie prepares beautifully arranged, fresh, inventive, delicious food for vegetarians, vegans, gluten intolerant folks, and meat eaters as well. We fully enjoyed everything--soup, salad, entrees, dessert. Annie is very attuned to the subtleties of natural flavors and to the art of mixing ingredients (without over- mixing them as is common in many restaurants). The flavor of each individual ingredient in her dishes is allowed to have its own identity while blending nicely with the other ingredients. She also grows, herself, much of the food she serves. I can't say enough about the deliciousness and uniqueness of Annie's food. We loaded up on to-go as well, and will be returning as soon and as often as possible.
Thanks, Annie!! Ron and Cathi

Our office has lunch frequently with Red Radish. Recently, 3 of the ladies in our practice have went gluten free. We requested to have gluten free for the 3 of us, and boy did Red Radish deliver. Not only did they deliver 3 separate gluten free meals for us but they also prepared gluten free cookies. Thank you Marcus for doing a great job.
Thai Basil is one of my favorite restaurants in this area. I love the food they serve, the atmosphere and the interior design. I also greatly appreciate the fact that they have gluten and dairy free dishes and it is pretty affordable.
It is great to be able to find a gluten and dairy free dessert that tastes good. I tried their cakes and they are so good. I will be a customer for life.
Love this local place. Good atmosphere..laid back, comfortable, clean. I love the art on the walls, music, and outdoor seating. I love that it is family friendly and also a great place to go for a night out. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Food is great - I like that there are vegetarian/vegan and gluten free options.
Beautiful place. Loved the assortment of books and literary-themed candles. The coffee bar was a fun, delicious surprise (highly reccommend the vanilla lavender latte) and the staff were all very kind and fun to be around. They had free samples of vegan and gluten-free peanut butter cookies, which was very exciting for me because I have a dairy allergy and hardly ever get to have baked goods at places. They have a few chairs and I would love to come back sometime and spend a few hours just hanging out in the store.
I bought a cute pair of earrings that are The Hobbit book covers and they are so fun.
