We came here twice on an extended weekend and got to try the house made gluten free options: quiche, bagels, and a very yummy raspberry oat bar. All were delish! My wife had the same but traditional (not gluten free) and she enjoyed it. Pam is the owner and was very friendly. Highly recommended!
Charming Italian eatery with extensive gluten-free menu including bread and pasta, plus a pleasant atmosphere.

The seafood Alfredo and Chianti were very good. The restaurant accommodated for Gluten sensitivity by offering vegetable side with trout in place of pasta. However I ate my meal after everyone else had finished theirs.
I do not recommend the GF ravioli, it arrived cold and frozen in the middle and the initial taste was simply not good.
The table service was eh. Not very attentive, had to wave the waiter down. Didn't offer to compensate for the 1 out of 5 horrible meals.

We greatly enjoyed High Test Deli while on our vacation! It was recommended to us by our hiking guide and he was spot on. They had good gluten-free options with special precautions for those with celiac disease. Their menu had a wide variety of sandwich styles and some really cool ice cream sandwiches. Make sure you visit!

No vegan free No gluten free options even though website still clearly continues to say they do...when asked if this was because they were out for the day or they just don't serve them...was told they have to use separate mixers and they dont currently have one for that and from what I gathered from the convo there isn't one in the foreseeable future...so don't get excited if you are looking for vegan/gluten free.

So glad we found this adorable and interesting bistro while vacationing on Fontana Lake for some fishing. The Tuscan Sausage Soup was perfectly prepared and delectable as was my chicken dish with a memorable Champaign Sauce. My husband's Filet was just perfect along with the bernaise sauce that was gluten-free, he even asked for more. And the perfect end to the meal was a luscious espresso. Hope we can return soon.

What a lovely surprise this restaurant was for our first time in Bryson City. We hiked in Big Creek and a hiking friend recommended Anthonys for lunch after…the pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had. (And my husband said his gluten-free pizza was the best he’d ever eaten, and with gluten-free, that’s not easy achieve!)
We were promptly seated and service was spot on. Clean facility, attentive and friendly staff, great mountain vibe… everything was perfect.

My husband and I visited Bryson City over the weekend, and we decided to try Iron Wok because it was close to the hotel and I'd read online that they are able to make dishes for people who have celiac or are otherwise gluten intolerant. As soon as I told the waiter about our situation, he spoke with the manager and confirmed that the dishes we wanted could be safely made gluten free. We had fresh spring rolls and pho because we used to live in Cambodia, and we love Southeast Asian food. The pho was some of the best I have had outside of Vietnam. I was genuinely impressed, and the portion size was enormous. The spring rolls were also amazing. We left full and happy, and my husband did not have a reaction. We will definitely be back!
The staff here are really cool. Everyone working the night we went was from Indonesia, and their positive attitudes made the meal even better. Thank you, Iron Wok!

Gorgeous views, nice wines, sweet dogs
Between our group of four, we tried every wine on the menu! I can’t speak to anything dry because I don’t enjoy them but the sweet wines were wonderful. I loved that they had the sweetness but they were also light and had a surprising depth! I took home a bottle of the ✨Razzle Dazzle✨
Bonus- they offer gluten free crackers as one of their charcuterie options

This is an interesting experience to say the least. They have been open since 1923 and it sure feels like they have been open since then. If you were big into the Ambiance of a place then you should definitely come here. I think that there is a lot to offer with this place. The food was good and it was reasonably priced for how much food you get. If we're going to be honest I was not a big fan of having the family style of side dishes, as I could have been content with my own. We are currently visiting cherokee, and this has been the best gluten-free dining experience that I have had so far. If I could not eat something the restaurant was more than accommodating to adapt to that. They ensured that if I needed a substitution they could find one. The menu is large and extensive. They have a nice wine list too.
