Had an incredible experience here with high-quality food and service! They gracefully accommodated our large group (including seven kids!). Despite our dietary restrictions (gluten/dairy), we had numerous menu choices for appetizers, dinner, drinks, and desserts. The servers were so kind and hospitable and put together a big table for us. We felt very welcomed and would be thrilled to eat here again.
Gluten friendly options and the staff at the Boardman Ohio location is awesome to give me advice on which sauce had gluten. They go above and beyond that too! After working a long week I ate by myself on a Friday evening and had the 5 piece rib and smoked burger without the bun. 10/10 but the friendly staff surprised me with a complimentary desert and a free sandwich coupon as a random act of kindness! Pay it forward people!
I have to follow a gluten-free diet. I am very leery of restaurants particularly any which focus on gluten products like buns. I have heard many good things about Jersey Mike’s from the gluten free community, so I decided to give this a try. (This is the first sub from anywhere I have had since my celiac diagnosis).
They wiped down the counter. Changed their gloves. Made my sandwich on a new wrapper so as not to get any cross-contamination. Used a gluten-free bun in its own sealed wrapper. Made sure my mayonnaise was from a squeeze bottle and not from the tub with the spreader. I was very impressed with the care they took an absolutely thrilled with the sandwich they made. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely great food and great service! Tony personally made sure my husband and I had gluten free accommodations as well as other people that were in the same party as us that were also gluten free. I would highly recommend!

I am gluten free and dairy free and found this restaurant to be really allergen friendly. GF and GFA options clearly marked and the kitchen was able to make the sea bass entree with no dairy.
The food was remarkably tasty and a great price!
Really great personal pizzas. They also have gluten free options, which is really great. The food is made right in front of you and it's all made very quickly
Oh my! The homemade pasta was wonderful. The best meatballs I've ever had and I love meatballs. The veal Parm was so crispy, even under the wonderful sauce. The food came out very hot not lukewarm. They even have a gluten free pasta option! I'll be back to try different items!
This place is a very cool concept. I love the wine and beer rooms and would definitely recommend visiting! The food is also incredible, the flatbreads are different from a lot of other pizza in the area so that is cool!
I cannot eat gluten and the only thing on the menu not served with gluten is the beans appetizer. But they have GF beer which is cool!
The first time I visited this place, a stand-in bassist for a Scandi metal band stuck gum on my forehead in the middle of the set.
He came back a riff later and slurped it back off; a process more involved than you’d think and much longer than I’d hoped. It was disgusting but worth the story, and from that moment I knew this place was going to be legendary.
Westside Bowl has somehow eked out a place as a miniature Mecca of metal in the Midwest — seemingly every new or up-and-coming band my group has wanted to see in the last year has had a show here in the wilds outside of Cleveland.
Unassuming from the outside, this venue has two levels and possibly two stages, though I’ve still only seen performances at the one in the basement. Inside it’s decorated in a mix of late 20th century Americana, band merch and typical bar fare, the hallmark of the lower level being their impressive collection of tees from all the groups who’ve graced their stage.
They draw a great crowd and have one of the best happy hours I’ve seen this decade: 4-8pm every weekday with $1 off cans (making the usual $2 PBRs & Gennys just $1), $2 draft 'Gansetts, $1 hotdogs, and $2 pizza by the slice (among other specials). The pizzas sell as fast as they can come out and taste as good as handmade (they very well may be). The meat-eaters in my party commended the hotdogs and chicken wings, and I had no problem finding plenty to eat as someone who doesn’t eat anything that walks for flies. Everything was delicious, though I wish more came in an order given the prices the appetizers are sold for. There are even vegan and gluten-free options for those who need them.
Our most recent visit ended with us upstairs as the final songs of the last act (who we only left because we’d just seen them recently) vibrated up to us through the floorboards. We’d all had a bit too much and were giggling and making jokes and not worrying about the bill being too high or rushing to beat the crowd out of the parking lot. That’s a feeling you can’t get at many places anymore.
Somehow we also got roped into playing bingo — I won a mug, but Plan B was another tempting option. I love the implied paradox of someone being irresponsible enough to go home and hit it raw after a rousing, rowdy round of BINGO (of all things), yet having the foresight to choose the morning after pill as their night’s prize. Wild.
If I lived closer I’d be here all the time, but I guess I’ll have to settle for retreading the 2.5 hour trek from my home in Columbus from time to time. It’s well worth the trip and I would argue the same is true for you if you live in a similar vicinity.
Oh yeah, you can probably bowl here too, though I’ve yet to witness it actually happening. The posted pricing ($10 for unlimited) is pretty good though!
Our server made the difference. His personality was friendly and positive, even when the dinner rush hit all at once. Kydd made sure that special care was taken for the person in our party with a severe gluten allergy. When a server understands what someone is able and not able to have gave us a sense of relief that the meal can be enjoyed without stressing.
First off, the restaurant is beautiful. While unassuming from the outside, the inside was gorgeous and decorated perfectly for Christmas. I have celiac and this restaurant was recommended to me because of their gf options. I was so happy to hear all that they could make gf and the server was so kind and knowledgeable and was great at making recommendations. We ordered drinks and appetizers and prior to those arriving, put in our dinner order. Up until this point it was a wonderful experience. The appetizers were delivered and were phenomenal but after that, it kind of felt like we were forgotten about. Our food didn’t arrive until 55 minutes after we ordered entrees. It was about a 45 minute gap between apps and entrees. I don’t know if I would’ve minded had our server stopped by more to keep us informed or check in. She did stop by after we waited about 40 minutes and said it should be ready soon and attributed the wait to having to boil new water for gluten free pasta. I’m not sure if this is the norm there but is just something to keep in mind if you’re gluten free that it may be quite a long wait. Unfortunately I can’t comment on dessert because we had somewhere to be and we had already spent nearly 2 hours at the restaurant already. Maybe this was just one slow experience but again, something to keep in mind especially if gluten free.
We came as a party of 5 with a reservation last week. Our server was great, she answered all of my sister's questions about celiac friendly foods (which was a lot to answer, I will say).
Our appetizers were good, we had lamb and crab cakes. My fig honey martini was great and my mom had a good class of sav blanc.
Unfortunately our entrees were lacking a lot. Salmon had no flavoring and was pretty small, my veal ravioli was either under cooked or just not fresh at all, the pasta had a very strange texture and little flavor. My sister did enjoy the lobster tail, even though it was quiet pricey ($70ish dollars). My mom had a shrimp lobster meal, which was alright but mostly tasted like butter.
I really used to enjoy coming here for a meal where everything was spot on, but unfortunately it was a miss this time around.
I wish I could remember our server's name, she did great and was a total sweetheart!
Had my first couple at my sisters house for a birthday celebration. These cakes taste fantastic. Have tries their Oreo flavor, Snickerdoodle and am now having their Gluten Free Chocolate Chip. Just fantastic for desserts and for birthday Parties. A great product from a grear local small Business. The staff both at the Boardman and Warren locations are very nice and provide great service. Remember to support small business as much as you can.
We have always been satisfied with our service and food. They do offer a gluten free pizza but it is the same 12 inch thin wafer that everyone else offers. I'm convinced that there is only one supplier on earth for gluten free pizza crust.
A little pricy, but the food was good & hot and the service was nice. $15 for 1 pork chop, nice amount of rice & small lettuce & tomato salad. $3 to add a second pork chop. $10 for 6 wings & fries. For my gluten sensitive people, there are a few options here that we were impressed with, pork chops, wings, fries, no flour.
We have always come back to Alberini’s because in the past it has been excellent. Tonight, not so much.
In past experiences, we were asked if we were celebrating something special, and if we were, the staff would be extra attentive, and on one occasion we got a free dessert. I’m gluten intolerant, so they gave me a rich chocolate gluten free torte. The food has always been top notch, and matched the prices, which are not cheap.
Tonight, however, the service was not great. We were not impressed with the waitress. She slammed things down on the table, and treated us more like we were at Denny’s. Alberini’s is supposed to be fine-dining, not a diner, and the prices are reflected in that. As such, a waiter/waitress should behave accordingly. She was friendly enough, but had no finesse. My salad was served without the Gorgonzola, and my husband said the pasta he ordered was not good, at all, and didn’t finish it. My father in law couldn’t finish his pasta because it was so over-poweringly loaded with garlic. The waitress never asked if we were celebrating something, and she told us point blank they don’t have gluten free desserts. Funny, coz I’ve been there several times, and have always had the gf choc cake. She blamed the chef for not adding the cheese to the salad, and said, ‘it’s because he’s new.’ The wine we ordered was nowhere near a full glass, but we were definitely still charged full price; The staff at the desk slouched, and were wearing jeans. Not a good look for a fine-dining restaurant. We ordered the deep fried calamari, which didn’t compare to past visits. It was way too salty. Maybe the new chef is the problem, here. Overall, though, it was sloppy service, and I would have rather gone to Denny’s, than pay close to $300 for
‘diner’ service, which is disappointing because it was my birthday celebration. . We won’t be back.
For my specific gluten free flour free Celiac Disease diet, it's hard finding places to eat but this cute little Mexican restaurant you could easily pass up if you weren't looking for it not was it affordable but the staff was kind and sweet and were able to accommodate my dietary needs with some of the best food I've ever tasted. The waitress understood my diet and told me they have other customers just like me do it was not inconvenient. It was fast service and the food was DELICIOUS! I HIGHLY recommend it!!
This is my go to place if I'm having a bad day, gluten free buns and I think I've tried every burger they have! Not to mention, the freakin milk shakes are so dang good 11/10
Tres delicieux! My wife and I shared a gluten free chicken bacon ranch and it was fantastic. Wife had a gluten free blueberry cheesecake and I had a regular straw nella ella, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Kids had the Oreo and s’mores which they both liked. Give this place a try, you won’t regret it. Merci et bonne chance!
Best place for a bite to eat within the whole valley. yummy slices of pizza, well priced soups, subs, and dessert galore. Incredible value, you're gonna be amazed everything tastes as great as it does.
I've had about all there is to offer in terms of food around here, as well as Columbiana and Trumbull counties. This is a great area for food and I have had some stellar meals. Jimmy's has remained my absolute favorite through the years though. I have never brought somebody here who left disappointed, or hungry.
There are options galore, and I believe mostly everyone should find a ton to eat here. I'm vegeterian and have had no problems at all, and noticed plenty of gluten free options as well.
I can't recommend the rolls, pasta, pizza, salads, or cannolis enough. But there's seriously nothing I've ever had here that didn't smash my criteria for what great food is. This is the standard, it's what I compare every meal to, and frankly, nothing compares.
Its a chain fast food pizza place! I think people need to grasp that concept first and with that being said and fully understood...and having Celiac disease ..and being so sensitive to any trace of gluten...this is the only food I eat that I don't prepare/ cook myself! I've been eating it the entire time I've been gluten free! I've been gluten free 6 years and I braved it my first time about 5 years ago and we've been eating it (gluten free pizza) at least 3-4x a month. It's always delicious! And ppl say the price is too high ...but this is America...try to buy ur own gf crust and toppings at the store...homemade pizza is bomb yeah, but....this is Dominos! I'll pay $13 n some change for a dominos party in my mouth any day of the week! It's like a break from the mundane gf universe. They warn it's not for celiacs but I've never had any problems! Thank you to the team at Dominos for that! In a mixed kitchen that's not easy! Especially so many times. The delivery people are always super nice! The ppl that answer the phone do so with great customer interaction even tho u can hear they're out of breath! And should something go wrong they have insurance so they replace ur order. What more can u ask for from a chain pizza joint?! And they're open on Christmas!!! 😭😭 🙏🏼🫶🏼🦾🎄☃️
The food is delicious and the presentation is beautiful. It's a little pricier than we typically do, but you get what you pay for. It's definitely worth it! Gluten-free soy sauce available for those with dietary restrictions. Dining room not open currently but we were able to eat on the patio, just had to be responsible and take care of our own trash.
