JAM is always a slam dunk in my opinion! They have some of the best gluten free options as well. Service is always great and I feel like the servers are very knowledgeable and helpful. The atmosphere is quite loud and echoing, so if that is a turn-off for your family or situation, I'd pass. Also on the weekends or holidays it's very hard to get a walk in table past 9am. You have to wake up and put yourself on the wait list to get a table around lunch.
For my first time trying a gluten-friendly pizza, Oak City Pizza Co. Deer Creek made a pretty decent one! My partner had been to this location a while back, but we both wanted to give it a try together.
I got the Gluten-friendly Hand Tossed Margherita Pizza, and my partner got the Gluten-friendly Hand Tossed Meat Pizza. For this kind of pizza the only size available was the 10 inch.
Something I appreciate about this business is that the gluten-free options are clearly listed! It is also helpful to specifically know which size! In addition of that, the website was incredibly easy to navigate. However, I was curious if there was any additional fee for making it gluten-free and could not tell online before visiting. There is a $3 fee but that is about normal.
Our pizzas did take a little while, but that was about expected too. Especially since the staff presumably had to clean their areas and prepare it differently. However, the pizzas came out nice and hot, and it smelled great! With the size of the Hand Tossed Pizzas, I felt that it was a good amount though not overly filling.
The Margherita Pizza was pleasant and the flavors were simple on the palate, but still was a good classic kind of pizza! It was nicely prepared, and there was enough of the red sauce, mozzarella, and basil. Also, my partner seems to enjoy the olive oil that was used too (taking a little off for their pizza).
I tried a bite of my partner’s Meat Pizza as well! Honestly, that was pretty good too! I am technically not as huge of a fan of sausage, but I would most likely get that pizza in the future! It was quite good! It was exactly as described on the menu, and just as freshly hot to enjoy! They thought there was a good amount of flour on the bottom of the pizza, but that did not take much away from their eating experience.
My partner is celiac, and they did not have any issues after which was great!
I thought it was nice that the tables had Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper available! As for the service, the employee taking our order was quite patient (especially since I was not completely sure on what to get yet), and let us know about the deal going on during that day! That was nice and helpful!
The atmosphere inside was comfortable. It felt easy to relax in and enjoy the pizza! I thought it was nice how it was a bit darker since some places can feel a little bright at times. There was good music too!
The waitress that interacted with my gluten free daughter was one of the best we've had since she went gluten free. Brandy took the time to ask questions and explain the process and procedures for their kitchen and establishment. She too has celiac disease so it made my daughter feel like she found her place and her people. Someone who finally understood her struggle. Money can't buy that peace. Ted's is an awesome place to eat and enjoy the company of your loved ones. They made her feel included with food choices and options. I can't say enough good things. It's wonderful all around... Food, environment, people, everything. If you haven't been. Go!
We have really enjoyed all of our experiences at Neighborhood Provisions. The staff and management genuinely care that each person has an excellent experience and that the dishes you order exceed your expectations. I regularly tell people it’s the best pizza in Edmond and they don’t believe me until they try it!
The staff is on top of things even when it’s busy. We eat here a couple of times each week and every single experience has been top notch - whether it’s been busy or not.
We have some soy and gluten allergies in our household and they have always been able to work with us to avoid those things.
I ordered a gluten free bun and talked about gluten free issues. I wish my waitress had mentioned that the French fries were battered in flower. French fries are a naturally gluten-free food, it’s always so sad when restaurants do this and even sadder when they don’t train their weight staff to point it out because it’s certainly not indicated on the menu.
Great pizza the have cookie pizza giant pizza all the shapes and forms and crusts you could want. Low cab crust gluten free crust stuffed crust. Wings, sandwiches ect. Drink selection is a bit limited.
The food was so good!! Wilson made my grilled chicken breast once I ordered. It was seasoned so well and cooked to tender perfection. What a great find!! They have a variety of items to choose from. I am gluten free, I couldn’t try some of the items. He carefully made sure my food was not cross contaminated with gluten. I will absolutely return.
Visited for our anniversary and Alex took good care of us. Great shareable small and large plates, and steaks, priced well and was excellent. Chef Kevin stood us up though (just kidding, he was out of town on a private gig). We started with signature cocktails, mangiacotti margarita and dragon slayer, very nice. Moved on to himachi crudo with tomato water topping, sweet potato burrata with gluten free sourdough, and beef tartar. Himachi was perfectly balanced with nice tangy and salty notes while sweet potatoes were nicely sweet with crunch from the skins and creaminess from the burrata. Tartar was chopped just right and seasoned well. Next up was a perfect mid-rare filet and charred onion with lettuce for wraps and 3 sauces, and buttered cheese corn scallops. We added a side of kimchi to round things out. Scallops were soft and perfectly cooked and paired well with the corn, and filet was tender and seasoned well. Finished it up with black sesame creme brulee, creamy and decadent, perfect.
A must try, honestly it is a great choice for an anniversary dinner or special event.
so good! first time here and the hotpot was delicious. staff is very helpful and helped us understand the menu and dishes, they also offer fully gluten free and vegetarian options :)) I recommend it!!
Sashimi is great! It’s very fresh tasting and they are not skimpy with the slices. Good amount of fish for an insanely good price. Gluten free options available!
so good. SOOOOO GOOOOD. their teriyaki sauce is gluten free which my family really appreciates. The vegetables are always cooked perfectly.
Their steak teriyaki tastes just like bulgogi.... yummmmmm
