I enjoyed my pizza. My wife got gluten free and did not enjoy it as much. Price was high for what we got. We did take out.

A bit pricey, but the locally sourced meals are top-notch and the BYOB policy is a plus, with a winery shop just across the street.

Stopped in for lunch on a weekday - sandwiches were really yummy. The server was well versed in their gluten free options and substitutes. My only notes are that the bathrooms both needed a good cleaning and that the menu itself does not specify which items can be made gluten free, which seems like an oversight.

We stopped here for lunch during our trip at Gettysburg, and it was AMAZING! Our waitress was Sam, and she did such a great job- even though she was very busy! She went above and beyond to ensure my food was safe for me (gluten allergy), and checked on us regularly. I got their speciality burger and it was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve EVER had- the special sauce was my favorite. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a great burger!

Background: born and raised in Iowa. Served in military and been around the world. Now a husband of over 15 years and dad of 5 kids (4 girls 1 boy who has autistim). We have recently started traveling as my career and life allow and it should be noted my wife pretty much books everything. I’m pretty cheap, have lifelong Celiacs and I stereotype.—get over it. Here is my review: Appalachian Brewing Co. Gettysburg, PA Industrial type feel with well organized seating areas. Clean, comfy restaurant (bathrooms were clean, too). Main eating area with overflow outdoors (picnic tables) and a bar with additional food tables. I think they do a good job keeping the elderly with the noisier families and you see beer seekers or the more adventurous crowd in the bar area seating (not just at the bar). All the eating areas are segregated but not too obviously. I needed Gluten Free and they surprisingly had a list of GF items and the manager came over to explain it to me. I felt somewhat confident ordering the swordfish, steamed asparagus and brown rice -also steamed. Kids menu was great. Our kids did sliders or chicken tenders with fries and the food looked good. My wife had a bean burger. She thought it was okay. Not great. Pretty spicy, but you have to put something in those things. No complaints from the kids. Affordable. $94 included 20% tip and that fed 5 kids, 2 adults. Notable: kids were given large paper menus with crayons and the menus had activities on them, which was fantastic. Brand new crayons. Their drink cups were plastic with lids. That was also a plus. Overall, I thought this was a great place for the value. And I can confirm I did NOT get sick, which means my meal was handled properly by the chef.

The food was excellent. They had several gluten free options for my partner. I really enjoyed the French toast. All the ciders were excellent and the bartender Katie was super friendly and hospitable.

The waiter had to go through two menus before he actually found one that had gluten-free options written. Since the sign outside says the most gluten-free options in all of Gettysburg I think the signage should be changed. As someone with a strong gluten allergy I was very much disappointed.

We stopped in for lunch while on a very long road trip. The staff, especially Brittany, were so awesome, friendly and patient with our big family and my gluten intolerance. They gave the little kids bendy straws and even came over and checked to see if we needed anything once we were eating. The sandwiches were all delicious, and we would definitely be regular customers at that location if we lived near by! I was really impressed and thankful for their hospitality especially during this busy week of Thanksgiving travel!
