A bit on the pricier side, but worth it for the fun drinks and intriguing history of the building, despite the lackluster customer service.

It is a tall order to impress a 30-year vegetarian with a dish as humble as a piece of butternut squash. That BBQ butternut squash with chopped pistachios was inspired, elevated, just absolutely sublime and utterly delicious. The starters were amazing as well. The caponata with Romesco sauce made me want to lick the plate clean. The peanut crudite plate was unexpected and fresh. The restaurant is GORGEOUS and inviting, and our waiter, Pierce, was very friendly and attentive. This dinner was very special for me and my best friends. Must return! Why not 5 stars? There were no dairy- or gluten-free items on the dessert menu, so our party had to just get dessert elsewhere. In 2023 I fully expect a restaurant at this price point with access to the wonderful gluten-free and dairy-free ingredients and recipes available to be able to have offerings suitable for all. I highly recommend Country Crock plant-based butter, delicious by itself or in any cooking/baking application. It is the ONLY butter I use at my house, where we are foodies and can tolerate dairy just fine.

A restaurant of very high quality. Perfect place for my family after hiking in Pedernales Falls state park. They had a lot of gluten free food, also had indoor and outdoor seating, and a playground with a splash pad. The iced tea was also good.

So we have tried this place a couple times already and it is excellent. I've yet to try the Detroit style but the NY is amazing, two words, Crust Bubbles, IYKYK. My wife is also a huge fan of the Gluten Free here. They are new and still going through some of the typical growing pains with systems etc but the quality is amazing and the owner will not let subpar food leave the kitchen.

A big sign inside the store said "Let food be your medicine" thought I was in for a healthy treat ... But...Not quite. It was two days ago that I went there for a decaf coffee and hoped to get some 'healthy' savory pastry to snack on. Sadly, all they had were just a couple of very small packets of roasted almond and shelves full of sweet cookies and sourdough dry toast which are in really big packet. I did notice they had a packet of salad on their cooling cabinet but I was looking for a snack to go with my coffee, therefore, I settled for the only pastries they seem to be selling, ie a packet of two sweet donuts. I was happy to see the donut was gluten free, although I was aware that it was sweet, I was hoping this healthy store would make the donut much less sweet since they said let food be your medicine. Unfortunately, the donuts was literally loaded with sugar. Every single bite was just granules of sugars that I could hardly find flour in it. Horrible. Horrible. I was so irritated, I hate hate eating plain sugar. How could this be medicine. However, the coffee which was really good. I enjoyed very much. They do have a lot of healthy juice drink but I didn't try especially alrwady had the donut. I would still come back for the coffee but hope they will make some savory pastry/donuts and cut out 99% sugar in their donuts and using stevia instead would be a healthier substitute. I have raised my rating to 4 star as the staff was really friendly and the place is nice and clean. Noted from the business owner response that they did not take my review well. Yes, I know donuts in general are sweet and in fact it is one of my sweet vice but my point is that I thought a health food store would make it less sweet but it turned out to be much sweeter than I could get elsewhere like Krispy Kreme. Please it would be great if the owner could take this review constructively. I have said in my comment that the coffee was good, I have said I would even go back and your store have gotten many 5 stars reviews for your juice etc. I don't see how my comment would damage your business if you take this positively. I have indeed told one of your staff that the donuts were too sweet for me and she said that was how the store made it. Every business have room for improvement but if you think I as a customer, my comment is not worthy, then please ignore. Thank you.

FINALLY, an Indian restaurant in Dripping Springs! And it's good! Right now, it's smaller scale, operating a drive through out of the back of the former "Get Along Grill." But they're renovating and will have a full, sit down establishment soon. My daughter and I got Butter Chicken, which was flavorful with a little bit of heat. Butter Naan was really good. And my wife, who is gluten free, enjoyed the GF bread they make. Can't wait to go back.
