Lovely little place. Visited on my birthday , we hadn’t booked but they found us a table as they were a little busy. The waitress was so helpful & friendly and did such a good job. I’m gluten free and had a seperate menu and couldn’t fault the food or experience. Would certainly return & recommend

Not happy I was out on a birthday celebration on Saturday and when I asked for a pint of cider I was told that they did not have any apart for dark fruits which was good for my wife but not me we are both celiac so can't have beer so I had to sand with the rest of the group with no drink and this was early evening again not happy

giving a 1 star is too friendly. i dined here with my son and partner nearly a month ago, we were the first customers in for that day. the service was fantastic we can’t fault that- but we specifically stated gluten free and that i was a celiac multiple times. I however had a very bad reaction a couple of hours after eating here, and so we emailed in saying about what had happened. They rang back shortly after and said how they don’t see how they could’ve done anything wrong and suggested i might’ve eaten something else (that was the only thing i ate that day) and i could’ve touched my partners non gluten free food. (as if a celiac is stupid enough to do that). but they said they will look into it, and a few days later they said that the chef put on a vegan bun instead of gluten free. the restaurant wasn’t busy, and as i said earlier we were the first customers of the day so it wasn’t an easy mistake to make. The guy on the phone was lovely and said he would give us a £100 gift voucher for there, which we never received- we have since emailed regarding this, and we have heard nothing back. so this is completely unprofessional in my option and if you’re celiac don’t eat here because they take no care in their diners with dietary requirements.
