Food was great. Portion sizes were huge! It is a really cute place, with an Americana theme. The combos were also themed, like the Lincoln breakfast or Confederate burrito. Our server was polite, but a little pokey and never got a refill (sorry, pet peeve). However, the food itself came out fast. The pancakes are on the IHOP taste side, but bigger and delicious. The fried potatoes are real! Not that bagged stuff. Overall would eat here again if visiting. FYI, they also have a gluten free menu page included in the menu.
Best gluten free pizza I ever had(it was even cooked properly)and I’m told by the others their pizza was amazing as well! Will order again or maybe even diner in!
I’m a big fan of Proximo, especially after working with them to host my wedding reception in their private dining room. They were very accommodating, the food was stellar as always (with great vegetarian and gluten free options to accommodate all guests), and the cocktails and wine were perfect. Thank you Proximo!
I have celiac disease, so avoiding gluten isn't a fad or lifestyle choice I've made. Even worse, my immune system responds to gluten two or three times as severely as most people with my condition, so I am VERY diligent about what I eat. I have not eaten out since shortly after being diagnosed, after a few failed attempts to eat out and just order 'safe' menu items. I was invited to Corelife by a friend and naturally declined per usual, and then learned it promoted a gluten free menu. I did some research online and then additionally verified this claim with staff and afterwards, nervously decided to make an order and take the risk of 3-5 days of trouble breathing, weakness, inability to eat, vomitting, and fever with sweats, and general feeling of unwellness i.e dying. Lol. The food tasted great, the atmosphere was comfortable for an introvert, and it was truly a human experience I've been robbed of since diagnosis of celiac. Days later, my sister wanted to get lunch and I suggested corelife and again, the same great experience. I am moving back to the area shortly from Virginia and am excited to know of one place I can trust to eat out at. The days of going out with friends and restraining myself to a soda or glass of water are over! Thank you core life!

Finding a restaurant with gluten free items that don’t taste gluten free is a challenge, but the pizookie here wins all the awards from our house. Ricci was a fantastic server. Attentive, kind, and she really hit it out of the park with the gluten free treat recommendation. My son was in heaven.
Oh boy where do I begin. Floor was sticky, the buffet and nearby floor was covered in food that had fallen off the bowls. There is no way this place would be safe for someone with celiac disease.
The cross contamination would make people with gluten issues or allergies very sick. Ordered the fried rice with chicken it came with shrimp in it. Ordered a plain cheese quesadilla it came with peppers and onions. There was no silverware so they gave us take out plasticware. They didn't have enough servers and the ones that were there didn't really know the menu that well. Asked for the manager and it took a long time for her to come to our table. It had been a few years since we had been here. Over all it was a big disappointment. We rarely are able to go out for a sit down family dinner. Fort Wayne has some really amazing places and unfortunately Flat Top doesn't make that list.
Smoothie King is a decent option for a healthy meal replacement or just a quick snack on the go. They do have some options for dietary restrictions, including celiac safe options. There are enough flavor options that you could come back numerous times and still not have tried them all.
