Amélie's Uptown | French Bakery & Cafe

My friends and I were trying to find a cute little spot for a light brunch and Amélie’s was perfect! I have a gluten sensitivity so checked the menu ahead of time. They were out of the GF almond pastry when I got there, so I got a crème brûlée and a strawberry cheesecake macaron instead. Both items were so delicious. The staff was so kind about letting me know what all was GF. The macaron was so good I got more to go; red velvet, chocolate, strawberry cheesecake, cotton candy, and the blueberry one. They were all amazing, but my overall favorite was the red velvet. I definitely recommend trying this bakery. The only thing I got and didn’t like was the strawberry white chocolate latte. It was way too sweet at the bottom and not sweet enough at the top, and was impossible to mix. So just keep that in mind when ordering coffee. My friends got their raspberry tea and some sparkling strawberry drink (not sure of the name) and they loved them. They also do free refills of the tea which is always a plus! The atmosphere is also wonderful. The decor is precious and unlike anything you’d see elsewhere. I loved Amélie’s and will be back :)

let me just say, Zack/Zach (one of the managers) if you see this… your the reason i WILL be coming back. i have a gluten allergy and i felt SO SAFE and so seen, so loved. amazing experience.

Amelie’s has been around for years and quality has stayed consistently amazing! I don’t go often since it’s a bit pricey but when I do get it, omg I missed out on my life. During my last visit I got the crookie. I didn’t know it existed until I got there. Picture a chocolate chip Cookie baked in a croissant dough! It was soooo good! My friend got some gluten free options which is always a plus!
