Amazing service. Get to that in a moment. Had dinner with 14 colleagues. We ordered several apps and soups. All delicious. Our dishes arranged from vegetarian to gluten-free to pad Thai to shrimp, chicken and beef. I originally ordered the firecracker shrimp. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The dish came out lukewarm, shrimp a bit tough and it lacked flavor. Our server, Upon sharing with our server, Trinity, she immediately removed the dish. I replaced it with spicy chicken. It was hot and packed with flavor. Trinity offered exceptional service, taking care of our group. We never had to ask for refills. She was engaging and we enjoyed her wonderful personality. Well done, Trinity!

Amazing gluten free options. Highly sensitive to cross contact and I feel great about eating here. Food is super fresh and delicious. Items are clearly marked on the menu and staff changes gloves and takes care to make sure everything is gf for your order. Portions are generous and price point is reasonable.

I am so happy that they offer gluten free options and have a gluten freedom night! The gluten freedom night is what first brought me here and I enjoyed the pizza and beer on a great sunny day on their large outdoor area. Looking forward to the next one and seeing what else they’ve got!

I’ve been to this place a few times and it’s consistently pleasant, well priced, and had a unique breakfast menu with plenty of classics. Our server was friendly and the restaurant was busy but surprisingly and relaxed. The gluten free options were really diverse and gave my wife a ton of options. Really enjoyed the iced coffees and the good location, will be back. Joey was our server, he was great too.

Firstly, this location is nestled perfectly inside a shopping center. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a courteous and friendly team member who directed me to the kiosk machine (This is how you place your order and get queued up for service). After, a server will provide you with a table number that helps them get your order out efficiently. I decided to go with the Chicken Shack and a side order of Fries. Chicken Shack: Antibiotic-free white-meat chicken breast over lettuce, pickles, and buttermilk herb mayo on a toasted potato bun (contains sesame, milk, wheat, egg, soy, and gluten) Fries: Crispy crinkle cut fries (contains soy) While waiting for my order, I couldn't help but notice the diversity in the staff, as well as in the other guests. This made the environment seem warm and welcoming. Additionally, they have quite a few flat-screen TVs for you to watch as your food is being prepared. They also offer outside patio seating. This location can accommodate groups of 4 or more, as they have booth seating options. They even have an online Shack store where you can purchase apparel & accessories. Bottom Line: Yes, I recommend this location for quality but affordable food. Have a clean interior as well as exterior. For creating a warm and welcoming environment that embraces diversity. I would not consider this an allergy-friendly restaurant. Quite frankly, if a kitchen and restaurant do not care about the health of their customers, what are they even doing cooking food for other people? I ordered the chicken avocado wrap with a gluten-free tortilla (which I paid extra for) and asked for no cheese. I also ordered a grilled cheese with fries and ketchup. I was a little taken aback when I realized my wrap wasn’t labeled gluten-free, but I tried to keep an open mind. Then I noticed it had cheese in it as well. I called the restaurant to confirm whether it was a gluten-free wrap. The person on the phone just tried to describe it to me, but honestly, there was no way to tell. I was left with food that I couldn’t be sure was safe for me to eat. The grilled cheese we ordered was burned, but I didn’t even bother bringing it up because it was already clear they had no process for handling issues with orders and didn’t consider it important enough to escalate to a manager. I did mention that they forgot the ketchup; however, the woman on the phone decided to blame the Grubhub driver for that. Explain to me how it’s the driver’s job to pick up ketchup, napkins, and silverware. They work for Grubhub—they’re a delivery driver. Why should they be doing the restaurant’s job? Plus, the bag was stapled shut when it arrived. Was he supposed to bring those items in his pockets? Disappointing and not like I remember it when it was the Dilworth location.

This is a great Quick serve Indian restaurant. I have been several times and I have turned on several others also who all agree they are a really good option for lunch or dinner. The rice selection is awesome and even includes a gluten free option. My favorites are Ghee and Biryani. The meat selections are out of this world and all very good. Indian food is rich and flavorful automatically and they dont dusappoint. My favorites are: Butter Chicken over Ghee, Mutton over Biryani, and Nilgiri Chicken over Ghee. I think there is something there for any taste buds though. 😋. The flaky Parotta is small but very yummy. Its always freshly made and warm and it pairs so well with every dish so just get it. I also love how when you go in person, they ask to top every dish with cilantro and/ or chopped onions.. This is a nice additive to the dish and I hope they add this option to Doordash to select for those not going in person. It is very clean and they take pride in everything they do so I appreciate their effort and dedication to make you enjoy it. They also offer in person a small cup of savory yogurt raita sauce with each entree that again should also be included as an option when ordering online . They provide free water, but there are no soft drinks or sweet tea available. This would entice those of us to eat there more frequently or eat inside, just FYI. Sometimes the service does move sloww, but it's because people are I'm sampling mode and they dont have help to keep the line moving, so keep that in mind. I also recommend they invest in To-go utensils especially for to go orders, because open utensils today isnt necessarily the best move 😉. Overall, I am pleased with the start of this business and I will continue recommend them to folks in and outside of this area . I pray the quality and effort put into the food and prices stay the same. Good job Kolapasi! Keep up the good work.

Ordered DoorDash from this cafe. This was my first time trying this place. I called just to make sure certain menu items were gf. The guy who answered the phone was super helpful and gave me tons of info about the menu. We received the food and omg it was delish! I got the waffle and it came with berries, whip cream, and maple syrup, and I also got the breakfast sandwich with gf bread. All of it was soo good and I would def order again!

River's Edge is a surprisingly good restaurant that's part of the US National Whitewater complex. If the weather isn't good enough for you, they have indoor seating. It feels like they have much more outdoor seating than indoors, as they should - the views are beautiful. There are many canvas coverings overhead to provide some shade, but in the evening when the sun is starting to set you can catch some sun right in your face or right on your back, which makes for a sweaty experience. It is wonderful to be able to eat a good meal while watching zipliners, enjoying the folks attacking the rapids right below you, or listening to a band performing right across the canal from where you sit and enjoy your food and drink. The atmosphere is top notch, even if your timing isn't ideal with the setting sun. The food is quite amazing for a location like this, as I would expect mostly overpriced fast-food-type choices when you don't have any other options except this or leaving the complex. Instead, you are presented with a diverse and healthy menu full of delicious options, including clearly labeled vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free choices. In our experiences there, the kitchen is very accommodating to any dietary or taste needs. My typical go-to is the Mediterranean Bowl. The falafel is always fried up well with that classic middle-eastern seasoning. Crunchy on the outside and well maintained on the inside. The veggies taste fresh. The rice is fine, but probably there's too much of it. The hummus is nice and traditionally prepared with good flavor and texture. The highlight of the dish is the whipped feta, which is a really unique take on delicious cheese and gives a fabulous tartness to the dish. I usually add the grilled chicken as well, for extra protein, and that is quite good. I once changed it up and ordered the smoked pulled chicken instead - that was just okay. It lacked any smokey flavor. I'll stick with the grilled chicken going forward. The service is generally just okay. There are a lot of tables outside, so the wait staff usually seems spread pretty thin. When a server is with you, they are very attentive to your questions and for taking your order. However there have been multiple times we've been waiting on refills of water or needed an order correction and it takes quite some time to get someone's attention. Overall, this place is great. Wonderful food with great views, River's Edge gives you an excuse not to leave USNWC too early after a fun day!

One of the best gluten free pizzas I’ve ever had anywhere! My family also enjoyed their regular (not gluten free) pizzas. We’ll be back! I’m originally from New York and am a pizza snob. Since having to go gluten free a few years ago, I miss real pizza. This was one of the closest things I’ve had (and I travel quite a bit). Very good! The only constructive criticism I’d give for management to consider is implementing some training/protocols if a customer has an allergy/celiac to try to limit cross-contamination (like using a clean slicer and gloves). I know it’s a lot to ask for a pizza place but it would go a long way for some of us. With that said, the staff was kind and accommodating when I asked to use a clean slicer.

I saw online that Jersey Mike’s has gluten free bread, so I had to try it. Extra special THANK YOU to Kevin who, not only asked if I’m gluten free for preference or allergic because he would’ve wiped everything down and got a new knife if I needed. He also went so far as to make me a custom sandwich *I’m gatekeeping the sandwich 😁* I really appreciate the, above and beyond service! ❤️I also love the gluten free snickerdoodle cookie!

If you’re looking for an Ethiopian restaurant, you’re in for a treat! They offer gluten-free Injera made with teff, which is a fantastic option. The staff is super friendly and really knowledgeable about the menu, so feel free to let them know you want the 100% Injera made with teff. Plus, there’s a delicious vegan option available right on the menu. Enjoy your meal!

If yall have not tried their Sicilian or the new personal pan pizzas, THEN WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! God, they're amazing. Easily best pizza I've had in a while. I hope it's here to stay cause that's my new go to now! It's crunchy, yet soft. It's thicccc but it's airy. Naaaaah, they got this perfected. I highly recommend the Sweet Heat, it's got all the best things. Meat, pineapple, HOT HONEY! I also suggest adding bacon, but that's just me being fat. I crushed the whole pie and I can't wait to try it again with some different toppings! I've tried their parm sandwiches in the past and they are delish! A friend got some gluten free pasta and he also loved that as well. But seriously though, pls make those personal pan pizzas permanent! I need those in my life!

Vegan Friendly Menu. Vegan cheese and gluten free options. My pizza was a thin crust, veggies, vegan cheese, and a side salad with Italian dressing. It's the best pizza in NC. So tasty, a complete surprise to me. Really grateful for the options.

We were in last Sunday for lunch, my wife ordered a chicken salad sandwich. She has celiac and a severe allergic reaction to all types of nuts, she has to carry an Epi pen. Upon ordering she asked to confirm the ingredients and specified her allergies. Jason S was our server and he brought out the sandwich on a croissant and my wife reminded him that she was celiac so he brought it back to the kitchen. He then returned with the sandwich on gluten free bread. My wife began eating the sandwich and felt a hard crunch when eating the chicken salad. She stopped and our friends and I looked and there were walnuts in the chicken salad. We called the server over and he was no help at all and took zero responsibility. On top of it all my wife is pregnant and cannot administer an epi pen, luckily she didn’t swallow the walnut and Benadryl was able to counteract the reactions. Our friends and I yelled at him and he tried to keep it quiet and not make a scene. The level of negligence within this establishment is ridiculous. Customers Health should be a huge priority and they showed no concern in that during our visit. Having been past customers unfortunately both us and our friends cannot return here anymore.

Burney's Sweets in Waxhaw may have closed, but the original Burney's Sweets & More is still open in Charlotte off Davidson Street. The bakery has a huge range of pastry assortments. There are even gluten-free pastries. I normally get the cupcakes or red velvet chocolate chip cookies. Everything I've had from Burney's Sweets has been delicious.
