The staff was friendly and courteous, but the food fell way short of my expectations, considering the high ratings. If you have gluten allergies, be cautious. While they claim to offer numerous gluten-free options, the selection is limited. It’s also doubtful that they use a separate fryer to cook their gluten-free selections. The most you can get, apart from falafel, is a baba ganoush “platter”, which is more like a medium-sized serving of baba ganoush with sliced dill pickle and 4 small pieces of pickled vegetables. Additionally, Baba’s Bakery may not be a safe choice for those with gluten sensitivities. I was informed by a staff member that a cookie was gluten-free, but it turned out to be made with semolina, which contains gluten. In short, this place is overhyped and way too expensive.
