Gluten free pita (thin, more tortilla like) is available. They were quick to answer dietary questions. Nice spot. Had a good lunch with a friend over a delicious meal.

Balaboosta remains one of my boyfriend’s favorite hidden gems in the city. The atmosphere is quaint and romantic, with tranquil tones, candle light, and glass elements everywhere you look! We almost never have an issue getting a reservation, which makes us frequent diners. On our last visit, we were treated with such immediate warmth and hospitality by our server, Mykel. The cocktails are artfully crafted and beautifully presented - I went for the Pollyanna and loved it. Of course, we had to start with hummus served along a side of warm pita, and requested pickled vegetables as a gluten free accommodation. So delicious and creamy! For our mains, my boyfriend tried the Beef Kabob this time with a side of crispy potatoes and I ordered the Brick Chicken. I asked for extra greens instead of couscous and it was no issue and warmly received. The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful, as always. This restaurant is such a lovely spot, and treasured for a last minute date night option. I’m told that the whipped feta is out of this world, so that’ll be on the list for next time. Can’t wait to be back!
