My husband and I discovered this iconic venue, and we were not disappointed!!! Magnificent dining room, beautiful atmosphere. Generous and, above all, excellent dishes. Impeccable service, attentive staff, and very accommodating to me, who is gluten intolerant! (List of allergens provided by the maître d'). Thanks to Francis. A special shout-out to Damien, who looked after our table! Thank you for his kindness, humor, and good humor 😉 Excellent evening, we had a great time and will be back!

A legendary brasserie in Lyon, well worth the detour for its history and cuisine. However, the welcome needs to be improved. We called to find out about gluten-free options for someone with an intolerance; the only solution was apparently to go there and ask for the menu, which is a bit limited for an answer we'd like to get over the phone to find a restaurant before the evening. We then asked if a reservation was possible, and the response, in a curt and disappointed tone, was, "Oh no, but for tonight it's possible. Come at 7 p.m. to see what's possible." Politely telling us that it wasn't possible would have been sufficient. Before offering good food, it would be appropriate to improve the warm and friendly welcome, even over the phone.
