A magnificent discovery! An exceptional brunch, as delicious as it is plentiful, with a welcoming and attentive team. A special mention goes to the gluten-free option, delicious and perfectly mastered!
We had a wonderful experience here! The service was really what set it apart. My sister is gluten free and we ordered a salad but didn’t mention we were sharing it. When it came to the table with croutons they offered to remake the whole salad for us. Great food, amazing location. Would recommend.
Quality service, a warm setting and delicious dishes. It was absolutely perfect. The wine list is remarkable.
Well done and thank you again for everything!
Special mention to the pastry chef who made incredible gluten-free bread!
The food was amazing, best dinner we had in Lyon. The staff were lovely and attentive and gluten-free friendly. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lyon, just make sure you make a reservation because they get extremely busy very quickly.
After a profession of faith at the basilica, we were looking for something to eat a little late and without reservations, luckily! A table on the terrace in glorious weather. It started well! What followed never diminished our joy, we were welcomed very warmly, gluten-free for my wife, very accessible menu for the children, and our menu at just over 30 euros satisfied us. Quality products, homemade, you can feel it straight away, all the seasonings were just right, the cooking was mastered, the cuisine is certainly traditional but so tasty... From the starter to the dessert, we didn't shy away from our pleasure! 83 euros for 3 including a children's menu, with drinks, with this setting... It's very honest! To recommend without hesitation.
Traditional French food! There was a vegetarian plate of the day, which I was able to get modified to be gluten free. The waiter spoke English and gave great service.
Very tasty new year's dinner with great service and wonderful combination of fresh ingredients and new tastes. The chef was willing to provide a gluten free version of the meal.
An exceptional place where you feel perfectly welcomed and served throughout the meal. Franco-Japanese cuisine is highlighted by a delicate work of flavors and aesthetics, enhanced by a tailor-made service which will guide you in the choice of your menu and your drinks. Being gluten intolerant, I wasn't able to enjoy many Japanese fusion dishes, but I was delighted by the care taken with each of my plates so that they were exclusively gluten-free (without me having to sort directly on the dish as elsewhere…).
Thank you again for this experience!
A pure moment of happiness
Everything is there, taste, quality, kindness of the owner.
Being gluten-lactose intolerant, for the first time in a long time I was able to eat like my children, I rediscovered the joy of sharing a wonderful meal
Thank you from the heart
It was perfect
Really good food. They even warmed up the glutenfree bread I brought with me. Very kind people. The three ladies in the kitchen work really hard and seem really passionate about what they do. If you really want to have a great filling (cause the plates are really full) breakfast, you should really go here.
I seldom to leave poor reviews but need to correct the impression that this restaurant is celiac friendly. I made a reservation indicating the issue yet the waitress was unprepared and unprofessional. A single item was suggested, a salad. I daringly selected the other green salad without dressing, it was smaller and less cheese centered, it arrived with croutons. Either she didn't bother to communicate to the kitchen or the person preparing the salad didn't care. This restaurant has a large menu, there are other items that could easily be prepared (slabs of meat? Potatoes?) GF but no effort was made to accommodate.
The building has seen better days, it was modernized within recent years but things have not been kept repaired. Both men's and women's toilets reflected poor maintenance (missing door latches, urinals gone leaving only holes in the wall).
Disappointing
I came for dinner specifically to eat the volaille de Bresse (Bresse chicken) and wasn’t disappointed. Delicious food and great wine to go with it. I had a glass of the premium wine (it changes) and it was a lovely Condrieu. There’s an allergen table which is helpful if you’re gluten-free like me.
Try the vigneron sorbet, it’s quite interesting and refreshing.

The food is very good (there are some gluten-free options) and the service is great! The atmosphere is warm, I highly recommend it. Thanks to Aure and the team for the welcome :)
A very pleasant restaurant which offers quality French cuisine on a small but amply satisfying menu. We very easily let ourselves be guided by the waiter and the kitchen who are both very attentive and alert on any questions we might ask (particularly on the management of gluten intolerance). The room is sober but maintains a good atmosphere thanks to the Chatreuses wall and other objects linked to the restoration. We had a great evening and highly recommend this place.
We came to discover Prairial during the establishment's 10th anniversary celebration on Sunday, May 18th. The program featured various chefs, sommeliers, and servers, all former employees, who came to celebrate Prairial. Each presented a dish. And we had an exceptional evening.
We were warmly welcomed and were lucky enough to have a seat facing the kitchen.
We were able to admire the chefs cooking in front of us. And, what can I say, each dish was striking and perfectly connected to the previous one. Each presented their dish with their own personality.
The service was straightforward, warm, and relaxed. Everyone was available and open to discussion.
I am also gluten intolerant, and despite the special nature of the evening, each chef accommodated this. 🙏🏼
Thank you so much,
Restaurant just right to stay accessible with a menu at 49€.
A huge wine list.
Friendly team, good food and cozy atmosphere. We asked for gluten-free without the waiter looking at us askance. Great!
I will go back soon
I ordered the beef tartare, and it was spectacular. It also comes with homemade fries. The quality of the food compared to the price is very good. As a person who cannot eat gluten, I recommend it, they adapt several dishes without a problem.
What a great time we had!
For our first weekend in Lyon we had the chance to eat facing the water in the “little garden”.
The welcome and advice from Geoffray "with an A" were perfect. THANKS.
The menu with all the allergens announced is a relief and rare enough to notice it when you are gluten intolerant. 👍
And of course the very copious and very good cuisine.
In short, an address that we will keep for a future stay in Lyon.
Right from the get-go, two men looked after us. Explaining the menu and Ares were very welcoming and seated us. My partner is sans gluten and we were provided both sans gluten and with gluten appetisers. Both delicious. Highly recommend, for the experience, the food was very fresh. I got a salad with vinegar rice and my partner got salmon salad. Coffee had a beautiful crema. Lovely spot in central Lyon with building old buildings around.
A very good French-style tapas restaurant. Warm decor, a clear menu with vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Beautifully presented, delicious, and generous plates.
A good selection of cocktails and homemade iced teas (very good).
In short, a great place at a very reasonable price!
We went here to try out a Bouchon Lyonnaise meal, and were very happy with it. I am celiac and need to make sure I eat gluten free. The waiters weren't sure what was gluten free, but were very helpful by giving me an allergen menu and asking the chef questions about the dishes. In the end I had pork sausages in a red wine sauce, and they substituted the potato gratine with regular boiled potatoes. It was delicious, and I would recommend.
