We recently reserved the Rose Room and courtyard for our brunch wedding reception, and it could not have been more perfect. The expert planning and communication with Kathleen “KJ” Jenkins, the lush and gorgeous courtyard space, the drinks (including a seasonal fruity gazoz that our non-drinkers raved about), the accommodation of dietary restrictions (one of our gluten-free guests insisted that I try her special non-cake dessert because it was so good), the wheelchair accessibility—the list of wonderful and thoughtful touches is long.
We wanted an easy breezy garden party with our nearest and dearest, and Butcher & Bee delivered. The food, as always, was excellent—fresh, seasonal, festive, and delicious. Our crew downed a metric ton of whipped feta, and the strawberry cake (also made in house) was light as a feather. The service, though, was perhaps even better than the excellent food. The waitstaff anticipated needs (e.g., serving a guest with a mobility impairment at her seat even during the cocktail hour) and were so warm and welcoming. Weeks later, our guests are still raving about the experience.
Thanks, Butcher & Bee, for making our special day magical! We could not have asked for a more perfect event.
