Very good cuisine😁, the dishes are neat and the taste is really there. The waitresses are kind to explain to us based on a dietary restriction. Quite expensive for a dish with 6 potatoes. The menu is quite short in choice and that's good because the fewer there are, the better the dish. The desserts all look delicious but very few are gluten-free.

The first experience of visiting a local cuisine establishment in Iceland and it was 100% successful 🩵 We took stewed leg of lamb, mashed cod, potatoes and cheese, and for dessert there was rye bread ice cream. All dishes were 10/10 Very good taste, original, prepared with attention to products and local flavor. And tea made from local herbs complemented my picture of Icelandic cuisine with the aroma of a bath ceremony and home comfort. I liked the staff of the establishment - absolutely friendly, unobtrusive, relaxed and responsive people. I want to come back again! Thank you for the wonderful experience *they have gluten-free and dairy-free options, which also made me happy

Gluten-free bread is available and can take the place of dishes that come with rye bread or flat bread. There are vegan and vegetarian options according to the menu. They have interesting to tourist small plates available offering traditional Icelandic dishes, such as fermented shark with a shot of Brennivin. Service is slow, but personable and nice.
