I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. She has very particular dietary restrictions currently due to a health challenge. Each person we interacted with wished her a happy birthday. They even left a card wishing her a happy birthday as well. The waiter could have been a bit more attentive with getting drinks ordered and apps started, but when he was there, he was great. Very knowledgeable about the menu. And nearly every dish was accommodated to be dairy free with sauces on the side. We are also both gluten free, so this was a dream for us. The entire menu is essentially gf. The highlight was the lamb. It was out of this world. Best we've both ever had. Way better than Kokkari Estiatorio in SF. We definitely over-ordered food, so I couldn't try the pavlova, but there was just so many good options we wanted to try. We took a box home and I'll be having that for lunch today. We'll be back for sure. The venue is also gorgeous and the head chef is a true professional. This is his craft and he's now playing in the big leagues and crushing it.

Callie is, by far, my favorite fine-dining place in San Diego. Our server (Brittany?) was wonderful as was all the food. Vegetarians, gluten-free, and vegans have clearly marked options on the menu. Make sure you tell the server if you're vegan -- they had two off-menu dishes, bucatini Pomodoro and some sort of za'atar mushroom dish, that were both DIVINE. The hummus and tomato fattoush were also standouts. Highly recommended!

Delicious, perfectly prepared seafood, able to accommodate celiac / pescatarian diners with confidence. Unfortunately, several of the things I wanted to try were not able to be made celiac friendly due to the shared fryer but the bartender was so helpful in figuring out what would be the safest and most delicious order for me. The kanpachi and rice pudding were my two favorite dishes but I would order everything I tried again.
