One of my favorite establishments in Lake Placid. The service is always nice, the chai is great and the atmosphere is cool. Capisce is one of those places you want to find when you’re traveling and look forward to frequenting when you’re a local. They have gluten free baked goods, in addition to their regular baked goods, grab and go items, plus regular dine in - something for everyone.

When I walk into this cafe, I feel I am walking back into my old Italian neighborhood. The staff are amazing, the hard barista encourages her team with resilience. I love the hot chocolate and classic jazz that plays so softly. Even after I told the staff I am cutting out coffee, they happily offered vanilla chai or Dutch hot chocolate. It’s amazing to see this coffee shop within just two years grow and evolve. I am thankful for their incredible sandwiches, happy staff and welcoming atmosphere. The coffee cake is do great and gluten free! It melts in your mouth. I love supporting this business.
