So many great menu options for someone who’s gluten free - I had a hard time choosing. I finally went with the pork enchiladas and I was blown away! They were delicious! Our party also had the Haus Burgermeister and the Fish and Fries and they were equally good. Portion sizes are generous so I was sad I couldn’t fit in dessert :( We wanted to come back the next day but they were closed. Definitely one of the tastiest meals we had in Lake Placid!
We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner and were very impressed. I am strictly gluten free, as were a few other guests. Our server, Leslie, went over and above to make sure she understood our needs and made us feel safe. She couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating. Thanks Leslie!
We were not impressed by Luna. We chose the restaurant because of the great reviews, but were really let down. The lunch menu is tiny. I’m gluten free and asked the server what gluten free options they had and he said he wasn’t aware of any. I told him that online it says they have gluten free pasta and he said “okay then that”. The only pasta options are pasta with sauce. No veggies or meat, and it costs $22. We should’ve eaten at home, I could’ve done a better job.
I have been wanting to try this place for years and wouldn’t go back. They had a recent remodel which makes the outside look great compared to the old look. Service was terrible! Our waitress was terrible! She paid more attention to the table next to us that had 8+ people at it than her other three tables. We started with drinks they took more than ten minutes to come out. She made a point to come over and tell us the bartender hadn’t made them yet but she would be happy to take our food order. Just prior to ordering I watched the table of 8+ next to us order the same drink I did times 3 and they came out in under 5 minutes. Our food was ok, my salmon was dry and cold. The reduction on top tasted like strawberries not lavender and lemon. I had less than a scoop of mashed potatoes and two whole brussel sprouts with a single half cut cherry tomato on my plate. My husband ordered the Cuban and his food was also cold, very small portion of fries. I would give it another try however the gluten free options are minimal. Prices seemed high for what we received.

I cannot eat gluten or do cross contamination and had an excellent experience. The staff is knowledgeable and most of the menu is safe or can be made so. The exception is the macaroni and cheese (which for the kids/non gf people is a good portion considering it’s a tapas style restaurant). My husband and I shared the absolutely amazing duck fat fried chicken wings and the delicious Greek plate with fabulous hummus. He had the pita (not gf) and I was given some nice rice crackers. Lots of fun and creative cocktails. Great food and service!
I got a gluten free pizza to go! It was ready quickly and it was delicious. The crust was very crispy and they put a lot of toppings. Adding to my list of favorite Lake Placid dining spots! On top of that, I ate it sitting by the lake in the spot right next door :)
Wow! Great good and service. Large variety. Agnes helped us pick out some jam too. Vegan and Gluten Free knowledgeable and plenty of options. Will be back!
The food here is awesome - so glad they have gluten free bread! But be ready to wait in line, or order ahead online if you don't want to wait in the crowd. There aren't a ton of spots to eat inside if you're planning on that either, but in my opinion the food is worth the wait!
Tonight, we had an awesome visit to Ben and Jerry's in Lake Placid! Ann Marie was amazingly helpful and kind as she assisted me in safely navigating getting a gluten free treat. She is part of the family who recently took over this location, and under new ownership things couldn't be better! Thank you, Ann Marie and Ben and Jerry's Lake Placid 👍🏻👍🏻🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Summer time vacation and ice cream go hand in hand - it's tough finding places that can cater gluten and dairy free needs but Emma provides options! I had the mango pineapple dole whip and it was DELISH!
First, I was gonna give it 2 stars but 3 stars due to the food being good enough to fuel our hunger. The main reason for low rating is the service when we got seated, took awhile for the guy server to greet us, for some reason he couldn’t give us two water glasses including warmer than room temperature water as I saw a 5-top got five clean glasses. The worst part of him serving us is he rushed to pay when I was still eating because he quotes “my shift ended an hour earlier” in my head that’s not my problem and I paid to get him out of my face with a low tip. I didn’t catch the guy’s name but it’s one with short-ish black hair with a foreign accent.
Now onto the food, Gluten Free sandwich was decent due to the bread being overly toasted to be edible including the macaroni salad but the fish was seasoned well. The wings were good quality and will keep you full for the day. Poutine was okay enough to get the poutine craving satisfied. I did enjoy the Kolsch beer the best. Will I come back again? Probably not after service wasn’t that great.
This is more of a boomer place, with typical American fare. There's nothing all that adventurous or unique on the menu, but people come here for the view. They do offer gluten free flat bread. Everything is your standard American tourist fare.
Every year me and my wife spend long weekends in lake placid and are go to pizza spot will always be bazzi’s we love that they are gluten free friendly and the pizza is always good we look forward to our next trip

Fresh delicious food, generous portions, great gluten free options/modifications available, friendly and accomodating team and very clean/welcoming atmosphere. Glad we got a chance to eat here on our last night.
GREAT Deli on my way to the Albany airport! They offered a great solution to my gluten-free request...a sandwich in a container! I got the walnut cherry chicken salad and the roast beef "sandwich", both in a container. SO GOOD! I very much appreciated the creativity and service!!!
