Charlestons is always an easy yes. Consistently good food, service, and atmosphere. They have a decent gluten free menu. Their chips are not gluten free. The salads, prime rib, mashed potatoes, carrots, sandwiches, are always delicious. The artichoke dip is so good (not gf) but oh so good for those who can it eat! Always a first choice restaurant when trying to decide where to go.

I have celiac disease so I’m obviously highly critical of restaurants with “gluten free” menus. I ordered ribs from their “gluten free” (GF) menu at the 68th & Yale restaurant. The manager PROMISED me ALL items from the GF menu are made in isolation to minimize cross contamination. Well……….it is now 2 days after eating their “gluten free” item and I have been vomiting, had severe nausea, and experiencing the same metallic taste which accompanies anytime I eat gluten. I will never EVER trust Charlestons nor their gluten free menu. ANYONE with CELIAC disease should take note. Do NOT trust Charlestons!!!
