Cucina

I've heard rave reviews about Cucina and people aren't lying when they say this place is great! It's a beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere; perfect for date night. If you get a chance, choose a porch reservation - they have multiple heaters on the porch to make it comfortable even on cold nights. They had several gluten free options (even for dessert!). We ordered pretty much exclusively from the specials menu and everything was divine. Seriously, get the cheesecake for dessert. It was so good, I ordered it again the next night of our trip for pick-up.

I have enjoyed several meals at Cucina since relocating to the area. Their food is amazing! The squid appetizer is one of my favorites, it’s always tender. I also recommend the Caprina pizza. I love their pasta dishes too, I usually get the gnocchi but tonight I had the ravioli and now I think that could be my favorite. I have friends that are gluten free and Cucina has gluten free crusts and pastas available too. I usually don’t order dessert but the Budino (like a butterscotch pudding) is too good to pass up. So while the food is excellent I think what I love the most about this restaurant is the friendly staff. Service is seamless and while I’ve been disappointed with service standards at some of the other restaurants in the area Cucina never disappoints. I’m not much of a meat eater but my date tonight was really impressed with their ribeye steak, not many steak houses in the area so it’s nice that this Italian restaurant has that option too. Also the Everything Nice cocktail is so good.
