House bread with garlic butter, hot shrooms (star of the show), and Caesar salad were excellent. I think I would return just for those three things. Joey was an excellent server. I knocked off a couple stars because although our appetizers came out quickly, we waited an extremely long time for our entrées and the pesto fusilli came out room temperature, nearly cold. They accidentally served us a gluten-free widow pizza, and shortly after brought us one with the regular crust. The smoked date purée on the widow sounded intriguing, and although it was tasty, there was way too much slathered onto the pizza. I would not go so heavy handed with that covering the pizza. So overall, the entrees were meh, but the appetizers excellent!

I can’t believe all the great reviews here. The service was terrible- we were ignored for over 30 mins before our order was served. The waitress didn’t seem to even bother to ask us about our food- though she was doing that to all the neighboring tables (racist much?). The food was quite bad, tbh. The hot shrooms were drenched in oil- had no salt or flavor, and oozed oil when we bit into it. My friend felt really nauseated after because of all the oil in it. The pizza was also under seasoned(we got the motor thingy)… the tomato sauce was really sweet- not in a good way. It felt like they had added sugar instead of salt. The gluten free crust was more like a focaccia, it wasn’t bad but felt like I was eating a sweet tomato focaccia toast, not a pizza. And there was really no flavor outside of the sweet tomato sauce. Very disappointed.

I was excited to try this iconic vegan restaurant and left impressed! Small but decent wine selection. To start, our group tried the House Bread with Pesto & Garlic Butter, Caesar Salad & Really Good Salad, followed by Salt Crusted Potatoes, Squash Rigatoni Carbonara and Fungazi pizza. Our gluten free guest enjoyed a GF pizza and was pleased with the options. Everything was delicious but stand outs for me include the bread, Caesar Salad & Fungazi. It was busy and service was decent. I’d love to return!
