My husband and I stopped here for breakfast last week before we did Shubie River Wranglers tidal bore rafting. My husband had a delicious omelet and I had the pancakes and bacon. Today we stopped again, this time for lunch, on our way from Lunenburg to Cape Breton. My husband had the full house salad with chicken and I had a chicken salad sandwich with home fries. Both times we also did take out for their meat pies and desserts. We love everything about this lovely restaurant. Service and food are top notch. My husband has a gluten allergy and the menu was very accommodating for him. Make sure to stop by if you are in Truro!

Absolutely love this place! The staff are friendly, they have a nice patio for seating in the warmer weather. The menu is great with some traditional British options as well as a few Canadian options as well. There’s also gluten free and vegetarian options (probably also vegan but I didn’t check!) The portions are great, food always comes out hot. We’ve gotten take out too and the food was still hot and very fresh by the time we got it home. Pricing is also great! It’s usually under $25 for us to get brunch for the two of us. Favourite spot in Truro now for breakfast, always excited to go back.
