I will happily change my 1 star to a 5 star when I receive 5-star service again. I used to enjoy this location and have recommended it to others, but yesterday was very disappointing. The gluten-free pancakes were under par (even the waitress admitted this due to a new chef), and the breakfast potatoes were burnt. When we asked for more, they didn’t arrive until after we had already finished eating. Service was also lacking. The waitress’s attitude shifted once I asked about a discount, and instead of the manager coming over to address it, only $2 was taken off the bill—which didn’t even cover the gluten-free upcharge. For now, I’ll stick to the Leawood or downtown locations. If I ever change this one-star review, it will be because I received true five-star service and management made the effort to reach out.

Great food and not expensive. Had gluten free pancakes for my wife. Had to find those anywhere!!

The food was great. I tried the polenta pound cake french toast. 😋 I appreciated that they are gluten-free, friendly, too.
