Very good food and service. Lots of gluten free options

I absolutely adore this restaurant. As a New Yorker I have been to all of the best restaurants in the city and this remains my favorite. I live nearby and come here once a week because I am always so impressed by the food and service. (i actually came twice this week.) The atmosphere is so homey and tasteful. It is not pretentious but also elevated. I have a gluten allergy and liked to eat clean, this is another huge reason why i love to dine here. There are so many options for me like their gf homemade focaccia and gf df strawberry rhubarb tart. obsessed. they also don’t use seed oils which is sooo hard to find anymore when eating out. lastly it is just so refreshing to have a restaurant of this high quality at such a reasonable price point, especially when you know they could charge more with all of their local ingredients. it’s so frustrating eating out in the city anymore when everything is so effing expensive. but here i can come and feel like the meal was worth my money. this review is long overdue, but trust me this place is so special on all fronts. i’m so glad it exists! thank you hc crew for always satisfying.

Amazing brunch gluten free options. They have gf focaccia bread for the sandwiches and a dedicated fryer for the French fries
