Kao Thai Cuisine

I visited Columbia, SC this past weekend with my sister, and by far, Kao Thai Cuisine had the best food and drinks! We ordered roti and curry, crispy brussel sprouts, pad thai, and drunken noodles. Our server, Jay, was friendly, attentive, and he was also knowledgeable and conscientious of my dietary restriction (vegetarian). He provided peace of mind by confirming each dish was vegetarian when he brought them over. The menu was well labeled for vegetarian/vegan and gluten free. The cocktails and mocktails were beautiful and delicious. I highly recommend the Mistress of Manaw and their summer cocktail Afternoon Monsoon. And, we finished with a delicious cheesecake!

Is the cheesecake gluten free?

We went here for a date night prior to a concert. We will definitely be back. We made a reservation. The location is easy, but parking on Main is tricky, we parked on Sumter and walked. We were seated right away, and our waitress was quick, knowledgeable and professional. We ordered drinks and food at the same time to get to our concert on time. The kitchen was super fast. I'm gluten free and didn't have any issues (I did let the waitress know when I ordered). I had the Senate St Noodles, my husband had the Green Curry. The food was good, nice sized portions.
