When I asked to know what was in the quinoa pancakes they would only tell me that it was gluten-free and kept repeating that and telling me that I couldn't have the recipe. I wasn't asking for the recipe I was asking for ingredients so that I know what I'm eating. But apparently the kingside diner doesn't know or respect that people have food intolerances and dietary needs. I ate them anyway and they weren't really worth it, they were okay at best, a vessel for butter and syrup. The patio is a pleasant place and they open early so it's a great place to have breakfast, hopefully this one experience isn't always their reaction to being asked what ingredients are in a certain dish.
