LaRosa's Italian Newburyport

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Larosa’s! We made a reservation because the restaurant was very busy and were seated right away. We sat outside and the atmosphere was busy, but enjoyable. We did go inside and the restaurant is beautifully decorated-simple but tasteful and the bar area is beautiful. From beginning to end, the entire experience was exceptional. The service was top-notch with our server Mya, being both attentive and patient, but never making us feel rushed. Our table was consistently cleared, our water refilled, and we were checked in on consistently throughout our two hour plus experience. The food was absolutely outstanding! Fresh, authentic and so incredibly flavorful. We started with the Burrata di Parma and it was so fresh and delicious-perfect for sharing on a hot summer night. We also had the Lobster Tortellaci and the Papalina-the pasta was clearly homemade, cooked perfectly al dente, and the individual ingredients and flavors of the dishes were incredible. The chef Al’s accommodated our specific requests and the restaurant has gluten free pasta available too. We ended with the espresso martini cake which was to die for. Can’t wait to go back to LaRosa‘s and highly recommend!

We had an excellent dining experience celebrating my mom's 85th birthday! Our waitress, Kit, and our food server, Mason, provided exceptional service, ensuring that our needs were met promptly. The meal itself was delightful. We started with burrata, an Italian wedge salad, and flavorful meatballs. For the main course, we enjoyed Papalina and a gluten-free pasta with chicken, both of which were outstanding. Overall, it was a memorable celebration, thanks to the delicious food and attentive service. Highly recommend!
