This is a great restaurant with a lot of veggie options. We were staying in Wilmington, dropping off kid at college, and wanted to try out some of the local food and were impressed by many places. This has to be my favourite to date.
The staff were super polite, and friendly, holding doors open and smiles galore and no question was stupid! The music, I was told, was chosen by whoever was in charge that night and we got to hear old school rap which was great fun as we sat outside enjoying the sunset.
Our server, Chandler (I hope I spelled that correctly) was really nice and helpful. My wife had the Magic Mushroom Soup, which was gloriously thick and creamy (I tried some), and made up with shitake, button and portobello mushrooms. So rich, so yummy. I had the Enlightened Spinach Salad which was so fresh and totally delicious, and filling too. By the time the pizza came we weren't sure we would eat it all. We didn't even though I could have eaten a whole one on my own as it was so freaking good. It was the Holy Shitake Pie. We were definitely going with the mushroom theme of the place! This pizza was beyond good. We ate about half and took the rest back to the airBnB. It was our lunch on our drive back up north and was still excellent cold and a half day old!
I have to mention the beer. I am British and have a hard time with American beers, but try local brews. I have to say that the Red Oak something or other. Damn it was great for the end of a hot day. Like I said great place to eat and they have a vegan section to the menu, clearly marked vegetarian food and gluten free options. This is a great place to eat for anyone.
