This was the best chateaubriand with brown butter bernais sauce I have ever had! In Cardiff, who knew. Well, the locals know, and judging by the crowded service, I think they appreciate it. I loved the fennal beet appetizers, a palate cleanser, really. The sides, the carrots, and the portobello mushrooms were fantabulous! And the chateaubriand was transcendent.
We arrived on a Sunday brunch time and were seated immediately. Our server, Bella, was very informative and such a great spirited young woman. She shines! She and the rest of the staff took such care of us. I have a gluten intolerance, and I can tell you the concern for my well-being was off the chart. I loved this experience. I recommend this dining experience to all comers.
The open kitchen, the meat locker, the chandelier over the bar, and the bumping music all enhance the atmosphere!
Overall, a great experience. I recommend you eat here as often as possible.
