A beautiful old historic house that has been a family owned restaurant (same family) Since 1980. The food was fabulous, all four different meals, the desserts were wonderful, and the appetizers were delicious. In addition, I have celiac and an allergy and nuts to my surprise two of the chefs also have celiac and so there was no issue whatsoever! I would say one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten in in Saint Augustine.

Where do I even begin with this sub-par dining experience? First and foremost, THE MENU ON OPENTABLE IS NOT UP TO DATE. We came here specifically because I have food allergies and this was the only place that seemed to be able to accommodate them - we were very wrong as the menu we saw online through their OpenTable profile is inaccurate, and most of their foods are fried, breaded, or topped with other gluten-based products (gluten allergy). Secondly, our server Damien, treated us COMPLETELY different than all his other tables. Was it because we look younger? Did he not think we would give him a good tip? Was it because we didn’t order high ticket items? No clue, but he did not check on us once, was incredibly blunt and unfriendly, and acted as if it was such a chore to serve us this evening. Is it such a big deal that I asked for no fried onions in my salad? Apparently. On to the food, if you wanted to pay $28 for 2 hearts of romaine with barely any sauce and 2 tiny mooing pieces of meat (I asked for medium rare, it was basically still bleeding and mooing) then Raintree Restaurant is your destination. And it’s not like I could ask our waiter to send it back or for something else because he never came back over until we were done. Disappointing all around, I would not recommend.
