I am celiac, dairy-free, and soy free. This was the first restaurant I felt comfortable eating in since the waiter and kitchen staff took all my dietary restrictions seriously and recommended certain foods that would abide to all of them. It is not easy to find an accommodating restaurant. I highly recommend this place for those who are very sensitive to strict dietary restrictions!! The food was prepared by a chef and the taste was phenomenal!!!
A cozy spot with nutrient-dense treats that are super satisfying, offering a delightful selection of baked goods and drinks while supporting a good cause.

My daughter graduated so I wanted a special cake. Due to a wheat allergy and a gluten intolerance we are strictly gluten free. We have the Chai cake and it was beyond incredible. The party of 18 said it was one of the best cakes they’ve ever had and they don’t have to be gluten free. It was moist and soooo delicious. Some of the people in our party went to the bakery the next day to enjoy more goodies. We have been strictly strictly gluten free for over 20 years and I have ordered cakes and goodies from all over the USA to be over nighted and I scout out every gluten free bakery wherever ww travel and this is the best cake by far. No comparison.
A cozy spot with a chill vibe, known for thoughtful service and delicious options tailored for various dietary needs—definitely worth a visit!

We absolutely love this restaurant especially since they have gluten free and take care to make sure their food is safe. Every-time we have gone we have had great service. They also offer vegan cheese if you have a preference or an allergy to dairy.
This spot boasts a spacious outdoor patio for pups, a lively atmosphere with entertainment, and an impressive variety of delicious dishes.

Pizzalley’s Chianti Room is situated in a prime location in St. Augustine, and the atmosphere is inviting and pleasant. However, our dining experience was marred by several issues that left us feeling frustrated.
Service Issues:
Upon arrival at 2:55 PM, a time when the restaurant was not particularly busy, we expected a timely greeting and service. Unfortunately, it took an unacceptably long time for our waiter to approach us and take our initial orders. This delay was surprising given the number of open tables around us. As our wait continued, we found ourselves having to remind the waiter about our requests multiple times, which only added to our dissatisfaction.
Children’s Experience:
One of the most disappointing aspects of our visit was how our children were treated. While other families at nearby tables received coloring pages and crayons to keep their kids entertained, ours did not. After noticing this discrepancy, we asked for coloring materials but ended up waiting for quite some time without any response. Eventually, one of our group members took the initiative to retrieve the coloring pages and crayons herself, which should not have been necessary. This lack of attention to families with children made the experience feel less welcoming.
Plant-based Menu and Pricing Concerns
As a vegan family, we were initially pleased to see that the menu offered customizable options. We ordered a vegan pizza, and while our waiter suggested a vegetarian pizza without cheese, we were able to request different vegetables to suit our preferences. However, we were taken aback when we received the bill: $27 for a 10” gluten-free pizza that contained only tomato sauce, a sprinkle of broccoli, mushrooms, pineapple, and a few pieces of eggplant.
In stark contrast, friends dining with us paid the same price for a 16” pizza loaded with an impressive array of toppings—pepperoni, sausage, cheese, vegetables, and specialty ingredients (they ordered half Garbage Can half Pig’n’Fig pie). It felt as though we were being penalized for choosing healthier options. Charging extra for a simple vegan pizza with minimal ingredients is not only unreasonable but also discouraging for those seeking plant-based meals.
Conclusion:
While Pizzalley’s Chianti Room boasts an attractive location and a pleasant atmosphere, the combination of poor service, inadequate attention to children’s needs, and exorbitant pricing for simple vegan options left us feeling dissatisfied. This experience does not align with what one would hope for in a family-friendly restaurant. We cannot recommend this establishment based on our visit.

We will definitely return to Luli's Cupcakes next time we're in town. A lot of cupcake shops focus more on the cute-factor than they do product quality, but Luli's has both. We got here a little late in the afternoon, so I didn't have high hopes, but the coconut cupcake was amazing. It was moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet. My husband got a gluten free cookie, even though he doesn't normally do gluter-free, but he said it was great. Can't wait to stop by again.

I went with family because they have a gluten-sensitive menu. Horrible experience. I think it was mostly the waitresses' fault. I got pork belly tacos off of the gluten sensitive menu. I asked her to please put in a note for the kitchen that I have wheat and dairy allergies and it went downhill from there. She said they weren't wheat tortillas they were flour. I said I needed corn. I was brought flour tortillas and she said she forgot to put them in right. I asked for a pineapple mimosa but they brought out a glass with less than a cup of liquid that had no pineapple. Etc. Management comped my food. I will not be back. Please think twice before coming if you have allergies too.

UPDATE: I sent this review to the email address they provided same day as they requested in their reply to this review. They acknowledged that they got it and have said nothing since. Do not be fooled. They have done nothing to help me here. I will update this review if they ever reply or do anything.
Terrible experience. Bad service, not safe, below average food. The waitress did not write down our order and was very frantic. When the food came out, my mom’s (Celiac) was not the correct dish she ordered. It came out with plantains (fired in a shared fryer) and not on an allergy plate. Our waitress went back and came back in less than 2 minutes with a new one on an allergy plate. We think she just moved it to an allergy plate and removed the plantains. However, the dish was still not what she ordered and when she told the waitress, she said yes you did order this. My mom very nicely tried to jog the waitress’ memory on how we ordered and the waitress said “whatever” and walked away. Did not offer to get my mom anything else or apologize for any misunderstanding. My mom did not feel comfortable eating what she ordered so she ended up splitting my filet (also Celiac). It was a below average filet and we both felt bad the next day (likely cross contaminated). On top of that, no one at our table of 6 ever got a water refill throughout dinner

Great place for bowls, wraps, and smoothies. It’s a fast casual restaurant so you order and they bring it to you and it has all sorts of options to make your own. Plus for celiac you can have gluten-free options easily. A plus if you have car, it has a parking lot in the back!!
Expect a delightful mix of fresh and healthy options with unique flavors and plenty of choices for vegans.

We knew about The wait time before we got there. But we decided to do it anyways. After waiting 2 hours to get in they put us on the balcony outside on the second floor. It was freezing cold. I told her waitress this wasn't going to work. A few minutes later they cleared off a table and put us inside where it was nice and cozy. Me and my wife each got a jambalaya. Harry's makes the best jambalaya. Then we ended with a big slice of key lime pie which was so delicious and gluten-free. The jambalaya isn't listed as gluten-free but I had no reaction to it. The service was amazing. Our server would come over to check on us periodically and join in conversation with us. I will definitely be going back again someday. But in the meantime I also love the hairy seafood in Gainesville or the one in Ocala too.
Amazing flavors and huge portions make this BBQ spot a local favorite, with delightful menu choices and fantastic service.

Me and my family came to this restaurant because the reviews were so good but we were less than impressed by the service we received at this restaurant.
To start it off we reiterated multiple times to the staff the my mom is severely allergic to gluten and if they didn’t have the ability to keep gluten off the the dishes they used to prepare her food she couldn’t eat there. They assured her they were able to keep her food gluten free but by the time we got home she was feeling bad and later in the evening she was throwing up.
Unfortunately that’s not where it ends along with making my mom severely I’ll just so we would buy another meal there was food on the seats from the last guest our server server dumped our drinks on us while they were serving us and we found a hair in our side dish. At first all they offered to do was replace the side but at that point we really didn’t want to be eating anything else from them. We had to ask three different people for a refund on the meal before we actually got it.
Long story short if you have allergies or just like to know your food is being prepared in a clean environment don’t come here because you will be receiving neither.
A lively spot with veggie-forward options and sugar-free drinks, perfect for families, though it can get a bit noisy for work time.

I like that they have a gluten free bread available to replace other types of bread. Their kids menu is good too at around $10.00
We probably ordered the worst two items in the menu since they didn’t look like anything from the pictures we saw. My wife and I ordered two different things yet they looked exactly the same. The service is fast.
The place needs some TLC as the walls are dirty which is not what you want to see on a restaurant. However, what makes this restaurant a regrettable experience was that they charge a 4% fee for paying with a card. They have a very small sign in front of the cashier that warns you about the fee they decide to charge to all their customers who do not have cash at the moment. Also, it you want their gluten free substitute you have to pay $.99 per plate.
Early bird's delight with a variety of drinks and homemade goodies, but watch out for the automatic tip on online orders!

Very cute coffee place nestled on a busy street! It’s not too big on the inside but customer service is great and the coffee is delicious! I had the P.C which was delicious and I paired it with the gluten free vegan donut. Definitely worth stopping by to grab something to go.

A beautiful old historic house that has been a family owned restaurant (same family) Since 1980. The food was fabulous, all four different meals, the desserts were wonderful, and the appetizers were delicious.
In addition, I have celiac and an allergy and nuts to my surprise two of the chefs also have celiac and so there was no issue whatsoever! I would say one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten in in Saint Augustine.

The staff were wonderful, the food portions were pretty big and amazingly seasoned to me but my mother didn't seem to care for the meal. Loved how this restaurant had Gluten-friendly options, I am gluten intolerant so this was amazing. We also had the flourless chocolate cake and it was absolutely delicious.
Old mom and pop. So many great choices and they have gluten free bread options. Loved the outdoor seating as it is protected from the weather and they welcome pets out there.

I don’t usually write reviews but this place was really cute with a good vibe. The staff were helpful and personable. A server named Gabbie helped us and had a great chat and walked us through everything even tho she was clearly busy. The food was amazing and I loved the five and dime. It’s a must try! The only thing I can critique is there is not many gluten free options.
Fabulous food! We just dined at Sainte-George and will definitely be back. First course Spiced Tuna & Beet Sashimi and the Lentil Grape Feta Salad were fantastic. We also enjoyed the Salmon and Scallop special. For dessert, try the chocolate indulgence which is gluten free.

Please don’t miss this one! The wonderful smell drew us in, and as soon as I read gluten free on the menu, I was sure about our choice. They were so kind to us as we were newbies trying to decide what we’d like. I had the coconut cream pie gluten free waffle, and it was so amazing that I came back the next day for a repeat before we left town. Can’t wait to visit again next trip. Highly recommend! Ps, loved the chill and cozy atmosphere!

My favorite neighborhood coffee shop! They have great options for gluten free and vegan for breakfast and lunch! Staff is always super friendly, and their matcha is my favorite in town.
It was tasty and satisfy. The clam chowder and miñorcan chowder was gluten-free but it does not a separate kitchen. The is bar area and area for dining. The prices are high but still midlevel and comparable - you have to remember this smack in the middle of Saint George Street.
A standout spot with thoughtful menus, impressive presentation, and a vibe that makes every visit feel special and memorable.

First time at River and Fort, we had the best experience. Matt was so knowledgeable and polite, he made everything better than it already was. The food was delicious! Every bite was fresh, well seasoned, and so balanced! We are absolutely impressed. My mom is allergic to gluten and they accommodated with no problem at all. Mara also helped us and she was delightful! The menus are impressive and well thought out. You can tell the chef and owner took their time in making this place the star that it is. Next time we’re in St. Augustine, this place is absolutely on the list!
Had to go back multiple times!
There is so much goodness here, even Gluten Free, and the people are exceptionally friendly
