I've been to Ratatouille many times for brunch and dinner and have always loved the vibe, food and portions. However, yesterday I went for lunch and decided to try something different. I ordered the lentil and chickpea masala. The food was decent but I didn't see any lentils and was told that they are blended into the sauce. Ok. But what annoyed me most was the portion size! It was a small bowl of curry and a tiny scoop of rice for 25$. I was not impressed and even voiced my dismay to the kind server, she was lovely. Luckily friends were nice enough to share part of their meal as their portions were massive. I'm still annoyed, that's why I'm writing this review. DON'T order the 'lentil' and chickpea masala, unless ur vegetarian/vegan and it's pretty much your only option. Shame on you for charging 25$ for that dish. **Edit** This is in response to your reply. I'm sorry to continue on, but I find it hard to accept what you wrote. Chana masala is usually the cheapest dish at an Indian restaurant and they often give bigger portions than what I was given. My issue was the portion. I should have refused the dish immediately upon receiving it. Please don't patronize me that it's due to it being vegan and gluten free. It's chickpeas and rice! There should have been a side salad and or Naan bread or something. I don't know, I still feel that 25$ for what I got is unreasonable. I'm just comparing to other dishes I've ordered at breakfast or dinner that have come with salad, bread, potatoes- a full plate! With meat, veggies, fruit! And all I got was a small dish of chickpeas and a tiny scoop of rice.
