Ristorante Boccadama

From the advantages the food was served very quickly and we had a seat also immediately. There were only one pasta gluten free even though it was presented as more. The food was not so tasty, and the dishes with gluten also tasted like there was something missing. Pasta was not well boiled, sometimes it felt like too long sometimes too quick (pulled out from water). We waited long to finally order the food and we thought that we were not treated like others. The quality was not satisfying for such prizes, but it looked good.

The food is great, nice Italian cuisine without a lot of frills. Service could be friendlier and the ambience suffers a bit from the many tables. There are gluten-free pasta(!), all made in-house. If you are in Florence and cannot tolerate gluten, you should stop by here. Oh and always worth a visit for a glass of wine in the bar area.
