I visited this restaurant during a short visit from the US.
The reviews seem to be very high, probably because there are not many gluten-free restaurants in this area, but the taste and design were actually quite ordinary, and I honestly didn't think the quality was worth such high ratings.
What surprised me even more was the attitude of the staff and their excessive response to allergen-free items.
When I tried to give my one-year-old baby some organic rice crackers and bananas, a staff member suddenly came over to me without any explanation and told me in an overbearing tone, "No."
When I asked why, he said, "Because this is an allergen-free space," but I felt that **To be honest, aren't additive-free organic snacks for babies much more allergen-free than the baked goods sold in stores?** I wasn't causing any trouble to anyone around me, and when I was eating cake, my baby naturally showed signs of wanting to eat, so I just had no choice but to give him the snacks I had prepared myself.
I was surprised that they said that even that was not allowed, but even more than that, the customer service was rude from the beginning, and showed no consideration at all, which was frankly unpleasant.
I was also stunned when they said, "Please give them our sweets."
Generally, many families refrain from giving sugar and salt to babies until the age of two, so giving commercially available sweets to babies is unthinkable.
I couldn't help but feel that this person had no experience raising children.
Also, in America, it is rather common sense for parents to bring food and snacks for their babies,
and this tends to be welcomed as it reduces the burden on the store.
That's why the way we were treated this time, even though it was a cultural difference, was very disappointing.
Other reviews say that "the staff were very kind,"
but that impression was not at all given by the person who served us,
to the point that I wondered if the review was actually written by a real customer.
I would never recommend this place to people with babies.
I think it's better not to be fooled by the atmosphere or sales pitch, but to make a judgment based on the actual customer service as well.
