Mario and his team gave me such a warm welcome. They were all smiles and banter as I walked in the door.
When I was indecisive about my meal (because there were so many delicious options), Mario asked me to allow them to cook me for. I agreed to the chef's menu (chef's choice) and I was thrilled. They worked around my food preferences and came up with an incredible meal. The gluten-free pasta was one of the best I've tasted outside of California.
Also contributing to the atmosphere was the camaraderie amongst the staff. Sometimes you can go to a restaurant and it's "all business." Here, I witnessed a team of people enjoying what they did, working together to bring a meal to life.
The vibe was chill, first class and playful. This was a culinary delight, an experience for all the senses. I went on a Saturday night and they had a DJ spinning.
