I had a great gluten-free pizza here.
I have celiac disease, so finding a non-contaminatied gluten-free pizza is always a challenge. I asked if they could ensure that my pizza could be cooked on a tray or something so that it would not touch the surface of the oven. They checked with the kitchen and confirmed. I asked them to make a note of the allergy for the kitchen.
A manager brought me the pizza, and told me that all of the precautions were taken (tray to prevent it touching the surface in the oven, prepared in a separate area, etc.).
As an Italian, I am rather particular about the taste of my pizza. The taste of my Margherita pizza was good -- a lot better than I was expecting. It is definitely one of the better gluten free pizzas that I have had, including gluten free pizzas that I have had all over Italy. The only thing that I did not particularly like was a strong garlic flavor which is not really traditional. (I think it was in the tomato sauce?)
This place is NOT an authentic Italian restaurant, looking at the other dishes on the menu. However, I was surprisingly pleased with my Margherita (aside from the garlicky tomato sauce). I would also say that the Margherita is one of the few authentic things on the menu. It was so nice to satisfy my craving for GF pizza that I've had for 3 months! Although it is pricey ($22 for a simple Margherita+ $4 for the gluten-free crust + tax + tip), the cost is to be expected for Downtown Miami.

Maria Fernanda provided outstanding service to my family and me. She accommodated my gluten-free diet and made us all feel welcome. Maria Fernanda and Luis, the manager, were both exceedingly professional. The food was excellent!
Candelária served us very well. She was super warm and friendly. We ordered three gluten-free pizzas, which came out super fast. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Brickell.
Keep up the good work. The pricing has gone up, but the service and food remain excellent. Gluten free food in abundance - extra cost, but delicious. Fungi pizza is awesome as is the chicken piccata
Dinner was so fantastic and we had our lovely server veru take great care of our large group. Gluten free or regular does not matter when you are here! Both equally delicious, and made sure to keep everything separate!so great we just had to bring the rest home and save room for the nutella pizza. Great lowkey atmosphere that allowed us to let loose and enjoy ourselves after a stressful day. You will not regret coming here!
I went to dinner with my family and we were all blown away. There was something for everyone despite dietary restrictions such as vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. The tiramisu dessert is also worth mentioning. Our server Mirko was super helpful and kind, we look forward to going back
I LOVE this restaurant! Everything from the food (best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had) and our incredible waiter Duayne, to the hostess and the friendly owner, made me feel so at home. 🤗
Terrible service from the waiter (the one with painted nails) he was rude, when I asked about gluten free it seemed like he didn't like it and he told me "only low free", he took out my plate and glass, so only my wife ate, we didn't leave because she wanted to have lunch then she was asked for the bill several times and she pretended not to see, we went to pay at the cash register and there he came over "he took the money out of our hand" and after a while he came back and left the change in a table, turned around and left, a bad lesson, the terrible score is due to the waiter's attention, THERE IS NO GLUTEN FREE PIZZA even though the options indicated here
Like always, authentic Italian food, and hands down one of the best pizzas around here.
Stefano always makes us feel like home, and all the Team make our dinners exceptional.
Try the different doughs for their pizzas!
And worry not gluten-free eaters, their gluten-free dough is excellent and tasty
TRY THE FARINATA!!!!!
Delicious gluten-free appetizer
I heard that if you treat them well, they give you a little Limoncello (be nice to them!!!)
I’m so glad I discovered Doro Pizza. As a lifelong pizza lover who unfortunately developed a gluten intolerance, finding a place that offers gluten-free options without compromising on flavor is a dream—and Doro delivers every time. The toppings are fresh, the quality is outstanding, and every bite is packed with flavor.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and full of good energy. The cozy interior, paired with an incredibly kind and attentive staff, makes every visit feel special. There’s a real sense of community here, and that’s thanks to the amazing team—especially Mariano, the owner. He’s a true gentleman who treats everyone like family and makes you feel right at home.
It’s not just the food that keeps me coming back, it’s the people and the vibes. You can tell this place is built on passion and love. Thank you to the Doro family for creating such a special spot.
The food is consistently delicious Nice size portions and delightful staff Been here several times and enjoy it every time Kid friendly Gluten free friendly
Beautiful location overlooking the bay on the rooftop of a trendy hotel. Excellent service & food. Our entire group loved it. Our child devoured the fabulous bread basket. I’m addicted to the Bellini cocktail - so delicious. I have food issues (celiac) & the server was very knowledgeable. Almost everything on the menu could be made GF, except for the scallopini but they said they could also make a GF version of it if I wanted. They had a few different GF pastas. I’m used to just having GF penne substitute available at restaurants, so it was such a nice surprise to be able to get spaghetti alla vongole - which was delicious & perfectly cooked & hot. I will dream about that spaghetti when I leave. Also they had GF bread. Amazing desserts - get the pistachio a la minute! It’s a huge delicious soft serve. Other gelato is also amazing. GF desserts were marked on the menu (panna cotta & crème brûlée). Overall, very impressed. We had an excellent meal. Loved it. Will return. One of the best meals I ever had. Highly recommend.
My wife ordered two gluten free pizzas (GF Montonara and GF Caprese) on April 7, 2024 which was supposed to be ready at 5:45 PM. and while past orders we on point. One order of the two today was incorrect. The pizza was missing sausage and had a pool of pesto sauce which was not part of the order. I returned to the store shortly after receiving and explained the incorrect pizza. The cook immediately apologized and offered to fix it and I brought my concern about the first pizza being cold when he’s done. The girl in the front with the dyed light brown hair with a reddish tint shrugged it off without care and was saying nothing then can do. I then stated that’s not right since I did pay 50 dollars for both of these I don’t want one cold and one hot…no care was given by the girl but the male cook was nice and concerned for my food. I was getting irritated at the attitude and said they can either refund me and I walk away and they keep a customer OR refund the 50 dollar order of two GF pizzas and take the pizza and I don’t ever come back.
The girl got mad and picked up the pizzas with force and angrily slammed it on the work bench next to her and said we will remake both pizzas and stomped off. I didn’t appreciate the tone, attitude, and the drastic choice of making both when I have already waited long enough for the pizzas to be ready (at pickup time the pizzas weren’t ready which I understand given the influx of orders). I then stated that because of the attitude I don’t want anything, to refund me and I’m never coming back. The girl continued her attitude, told the cook to stop, and then proceeded to refund me while stating “just because you had a bad day doesn’t mean you it’s okay to be like this” I then replied saying “I’m having a great day actually but I just don’t appreciate the attitude”. I patiently waited for the receipt and when I received it I said in a neutral tone “have a nice day” she replied with a sarcastic attitude and fake smile and I will capitalize her emphasis where she raised her tone “ have a BLESSED day, may god bless you” in a very very sarcastic tone. I did mention this issue will be included in the review and she yelled to add it.
I did enjoy pizzilio in the past but I refuse to come here if the service comes with behavior like this when something goes wrong. Customer service and good products is what keeps people coming back, sadly one of those two is missing here.
Wow! Couldn’t have had a better experience. Went for Miami spice pre-set menu. Beautiful restaurant, great service, and tasty quality Italian food! Everything was absolutely delicious! As a bonus, they were very knowledgeable about gluten-free food for an allergy, which is rare and appreciated! Can’t wait to return.
Our server, Lucas, was formidable. Perhaps I’m getting the translation of the French word wrong, but what I mean is, he was excellent. Only took two wines to find me the perfect one and managed to educate me on why the prosciutto was salty, without being condescending. Loved him. It’s all about the people. The owner or manager also came around to check on us. Very nice man. The Eggplant parmesan, minus the breaded and fried nonsense, was excellent, gluten free and a meal in itself and the burrata, elegantly plated and sparsely sauced (as I like it) on a bed of arugula with prosciutto, was fresh and tasty, almost as good as my first experience of truly good burrata was, at La Locanda on South Beach. But then it’s tough to surpass first impressions. Dessert; the creamiest puréed italian cheesecake with, I think, raspberry dripping was delicious. It must have been, because I actually dislike italian cheesecake, and I was happy to eat more than a few bites. Amd the ambience was very good, gave an intimate , but out for the evening feel and the music volume was perfect,; low enough to have a conversation instead of a shouting match. All in all, it was a great experience;would have been five stars, but for a poorly buffed wine glass.
This review is for outdoor seating only. And, if it hadn’t been for Sierra (?) the manager it would have been a one star review. We were seated indoors and told there were no seats available outside (even though we saw empty tables). Fine. But, the table we were seated at had water dripping down on it and we were asked to stand to the side as they took a mop and wiped the ceiling. Again, we asked to be seated outside instead and were dismissed rather rudely. At this point, we decided to leave. But, Sierra caught up with us, apologized and urged us to take a lovely table outside with a fabulous server and promised it would be a wonderful situation, and offered us some wine as an apology. It’s a tale of two restaurants. Outside was so much better. Fabulous vibe, welcoming service (I think our server’s name was Jen), and good food and wine. We had the Miami Spice and enjoyed the crudo and steak. Also, appreciated the substitution of gelato to accommodate a gluten intolerance.
One more thing, one of the servers dropped some wine glasses and glass shattered over my feet. They were apologetic though.
So, if you go, look at the menu so the prices don’t surprise you and sit outside.
We came in on a rainy Friday night and the sausage lentil soup hit the spot! Our server Estephanie was gracious and attentive. We ordered the combo appetizer with calamari and cheesticks which were delicious but the stuffed mushrooms were cold. Estephanie quickly remedied this and they were then very satisfying. We like that there are gluten free pasta options but wish there were gluten free bread or dessert available We will be back!
Great service, atmosphere and food. Most of the menu is gluten free, including some gluten free pasta options!
While the menu doesn't clearly mark what's GF or not, the staff was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I could order or not. Highly recommend!
This is one of my absolute favorite places in Miami. It’s a rare restaurant that does an exceptional job with every component of the overall experience. I’ve been in twice to eat & drink, and sat at the bar both times, where Alonzo and Alessio were fantastic in their attentiveness & interactions. The food is excellent - scallop crudo is unreal, and among the best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had - w/ the pesto *chef’s kiss*. The atmosphere is very ‘refined Miami’ in the best way. Additionally, Gary swung by to say hello and was very welcoming.
We had a great dinner at Il Gabiano downtown Miami, our food veal with mushrooms, artichokes was delicious with a light sauce, grilled calamari very good , no gluten free bread, service was great on 4th of July great terrace to watch fireworks!!!!!
🔥 ❤️ Best gluten free pizza you can find in town. Honestly, wait time was like 20 minutes, cause they cook it fresh. Trust ke it’s worth the weight. dough quality is so good that you don’t feel that heavy at all. Vibe is great! Staff is super friendly.
This is a tricky place to review... It's gotten the 1 Michelin star and it's difficult to get reservations because it's so small. As a result, it gets hyped up.
It didn't meet my very elevated expectations but the food was delicious and the service was great. Now that I've had a chance to think about it, it's a 4.5/5 star place on Yelp. It's great, but the hype hurts them.
We had a party of 4, which is great because it lets you try essentially all of the dishes. We pretty much got everything on the menu. Some dishes that stood out were the
-Beef Tartare
-Tagliolini Nero (king crab + pasta)
-White Truffle Tagliatelle
-Sunchoke Caramelle
-Lamb ribs fra diavola (good spicy kick!)
We liked the pasta dishes more than the lighter and meatier dishes, but the pastas get pretty heavy so you can't get too many. They recommend 2-3 dishes per person, and that's pretty accurate. We got more and we couldn't finish the later dishes.
1 person in our table has Celiac disease and can't eat gluten, and the servers were really good about finding substitute ingredients, separating the things with gluten onto the side, and pointing out each dish that was or wasn't gluten free. We had no issues with it.
For dessert, we had the chocolate budino which was really rich and delicious.
The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The service stands out. It's not stuffy or snobby. They're just very friendly and down to earth. Afterwards, we went to Walrus Rodeo (their sister restaurant) for a drink, and the server called ahead to make sure they had room for us. That was really nice of them to do.
Very good meal. Mostly the service and the vibe. The food looked great but as a celiac I didn’t have too many choices. The vibes made it all worth it. My dinner was a Vitelo tonno and the entree a salad. The condiments the same the taste the same. He had the ‘cacio e pepe’, no words, amazing. The wine list and the atmosphere were all top notch!
This little hidden treasure for Italian food. Freshly made and really enjoyable. Clean, excellent service, friendly and great atmosphere. Good for families and large parties. You can also call and reserve your table. Parking accessible and good wheelchair. Gluten free options available (also for pizza).
This place is a standout! The service is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly attentive, making you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. The food rivals that of much pricier spots, delivering high-end flavors without the inflated cost. It strikes the perfect balance between genuinely local charm and understated sophistication.
The spicy rigatoni was velvety, rich, and packed with flavor, while the bolognese was nothing short of perfection—deeply savory and expertly balanced. The wine selection was equally impressive, offering thoughtful pairings that elevated the meal.
They were also very well-versed on what items on the menu could be made gluten free and had gluten free pasta available - a major plus for me.
This is the kind of place you come back to again and again—and we absolutely will.
What a lovely place with delicious Italian food! Pastas are really good, I got seafood one, and it was really yum! Pastries are amazing, especially ham and cheese croissant and almond croissant, and coffee is great. Can't wait to go back to try other items on the menu.
Update: Came back here 3rd time tried their poke bowl with side of octopus. Omg, amazing! And thier short rib pasta special was really great too. If you request they can make it gluten free.
Beautiful restaurant with attentive service and delicious gluten free pasta. We did not know this restaurant just opened.
The decor is relaxing and inspiring. The service, very attentive and everything we ordered was delicious !! The glinted free chocolate cake was divine.
We we were thrilled to learn of a couple of Rosemary’s in NYC!
One of the best restaurants I have ever been to! The service was over the top. They had Gluten free options and made sure they even served gluten free bread on the side! I would greatly recommend this place to Gluten Free and Vegetarians!
Love this place!!!! Victor was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and my gluten allergy. Delicious cocktails and great modifications for allergies. Love the vibe and atmosphere. Victor was seriously an excellent server, so personable and caring. Will be coming back soon.
This place is truly worth paying a visit! The food is beyond delicious. Beto, the owner, makes you feel like you are in his house, making you feel welcome and ensuring you are enjoying yourself.
We tried the burrata, grilled octopus, green pasta with shrimps, mussels, lasagna, fillet mignon, and risotto. Also, their 4-cheese gnocchi and deserts are to die for.
My daughter can’t have any gluten and they were very accommodating to make sure she could have a delicious and safe meal.
Miami’s best Italian food, without a doubt.
Great place to have lunch or dinner, food never disappoints, wide variety of options even if you are gluten intolerant, authentic flavors in every dish.
Our server Dayana went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction.
A definite five-star gem.

Visited this lovely cafe over the weekend for the first time & loved it! Went with a group of friends for coffee and a charcuterie board and Federica made the experience unforgettable. The cheese and coldcuts that were on the board were delicious & unique flavors. This is such a great place to order a customized charcuterie board with quality products imported from Italy.
The coffee is out of this world, shipped from Naples, Italy it has a bold yet smooth flavor. Lots of non-dairy milk options & gluten free pastries. 10/10 I highly recommend this place!
Lovely restaurant with generous portions. We have frequented this restaurant in the past and have received consistent service and wonderful food. They also have a gluten free menu option which is one of the many reasons why we come back. Thank you for a wonderful dinner this evening.
Very classy and beautiful. Great place to take a date for a romantic evening dinner. Service was outstanding and food was curated with care by the chef. Best gluten-free pizza 🍕 Ever!!
We were served by Candelaria! She was super nice and explained all the dishes in great detail. She also gave us good advice on special dishes for celiacs. The food was incredible, especially the cauliflower pizza!
