Came here for gluten free food by reading a blog. Only option was gf pancake and it was way below average. Waitresses are not knowledgeable about gluten so we waited 45 minutes and left hungry. Probably it is good place for regular people but it is no no if you are celiac.
I had a great gluten-free pizza here.
I have celiac disease, so finding a non-contaminatied gluten-free pizza is always a challenge. I asked if they could ensure that my pizza could be cooked on a tray or something so that it would not touch the surface of the oven. They checked with the kitchen and confirmed. I asked them to make a note of the allergy for the kitchen.
A manager brought me the pizza, and told me that all of the precautions were taken (tray to prevent it touching the surface in the oven, prepared in a separate area, etc.).
As an Italian, I am rather particular about the taste of my pizza. The taste of my Margherita pizza was good -- a lot better than I was expecting. It is definitely one of the better gluten free pizzas that I have had, including gluten free pizzas that I have had all over Italy. The only thing that I did not particularly like was a strong garlic flavor which is not really traditional. (I think it was in the tomato sauce?)
This place is NOT an authentic Italian restaurant, looking at the other dishes on the menu. However, I was surprisingly pleased with my Margherita (aside from the garlicky tomato sauce). I would also say that the Margherita is one of the few authentic things on the menu. It was so nice to satisfy my craving for GF pizza that I've had for 3 months! Although it is pricey ($22 for a simple Margherita+ $4 for the gluten-free crust + tax + tip), the cost is to be expected for Downtown Miami.

COTE delivers an unforgettable, top-tier dining experience from start to finish. The multiservice format is incredibly well-executed—each course flows seamlessly, and every team member plays a part in making the evening special. The drinks are outstanding, the food is absolutely amazing, and the service is on another level. As someone who is dairy- and gluten-free, I was blown away by how attentive and knowledgeable the staff were. Every single server was already aware of my dietary needs and made sure everything I was served was safe and delicious. The attention to detail and genuine care they show is truly impressive. COTE is more than a meal—it’s an experience. Can’t recommend it enough!
I have been coming here for years and I have to say that this will be my last time. We brought the whole family and several friends. My daughter’s steak was raw, I eat rare meat all the time and I couldnt eat this. My wedge steak salad came with the steak as cold as the salad. I couldnt eat it. They confused several orders. We had one person in our party who had a gluten allergy, despite asking for gluten free options the waiter never mentioned that they had a Gluten free menu, really? The experience was uncharacteristic, but it was so bad I wont be coming back.
Claudia's service was great! She guided me through the gluten-free options and gave me the gluten-free options.
The grilled chicken fries should be like the ones you'd find at a Peruvian chicken restaurant; they're not as good. The mayonnaise should have more flavor, like the kind you'd find in Lima. The chicken is rich and juicy.
The chicken causa was spectacular; you have to order it!
We had a wonderful experience at Area 31 at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel. The food was excellent. They were able to easily accommodated our gluten allergy. It was also fun walking around the pool and seeing the Miami skyline and bay prior to dinner. We ate outside in June and the temperature was very comfortable.
The staff is great and friendly, my wife has Celiac and the manager personally made sure it is safe to eat. Cocktails are amazing, music is great and a very trendy young vibe.
[Celiac friendly - menu displays gf items]
Celiac safe. Menu marked gluten free. Manager was attentive. Server was stoic. They were knowledgeable of celiac disease and were able to accommodate. Food was good. Drinks were great. Better than average experience.
Wow! Couldn’t have had a better experience. Went for Miami spice pre-set menu. Beautiful restaurant, great service, and tasty quality Italian food! Everything was absolutely delicious! As a bonus, they were very knowledgeable about gluten-free food for an allergy, which is rare and appreciated! Can’t wait to return.
We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely evening. As we are both gluten intolerant we asked about GF options and received several recommendations. They substituted the pita and tomato side for a small Greek salad which was very good. The souvlaki was juicy, flavourful and tender. Thanks to Meriem for her attentive service. If we are in Miami again we’d definitely return here for dinner.
Spectacular Sours! Plenty of amazing taste profiles to choose from. The gluten free sour called “You ever think about dying” is one of the best sours I’ve ever had the privilege of drinking.
This place is dark and loud. I think overall if you want to enjoy barbecue this is a good place to go. I can't say that our waitress was the friendliest but she was okay.
I think for $58 this is a pretty steep price and then they have two more upgraded versions which I think is kind of ridiculous because it's not that much extra stuff I think that they should have a little bit lower prices and only two different options.
All the meat was good and this is really interesting for gluten-free person because almost every single sauce is gluten-free which is pretty abnormal so it is almost 100% safe to eat for celiac person which is fantastic. Being Celiac this is not something I normally get to try so this was a pretty cool experience for me but I'm not sure if I would come back here again.
The highlights were the cheese corn and the pork belly. You should definitely check this place out if you're in the area. I think this is something that everybody can go to once. Even though that the price is steep doing the all-you-can-eat option is cheaper than doing a large carte.
One thing I did not like is that they automatically put in 18% tip on your bill. I thought that was crazy. The green tea icecream was good. The garlic edamame were wet and gross.
We came in on a rainy Friday night and the sausage lentil soup hit the spot! Our server Estephanie was gracious and attentive. We ordered the combo appetizer with calamari and cheesticks which were delicious but the stuffed mushrooms were cold. Estephanie quickly remedied this and they were then very satisfying. We like that there are gluten free pasta options but wish there were gluten free bread or dessert available We will be back!
This is one of my absolute favorite places in Miami. It’s a rare restaurant that does an exceptional job with every component of the overall experience. I’ve been in twice to eat & drink, and sat at the bar both times, where Alonzo and Alessio were fantastic in their attentiveness & interactions. The food is excellent - scallop crudo is unreal, and among the best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had - w/ the pesto *chef’s kiss*. The atmosphere is very ‘refined Miami’ in the best way. Additionally, Gary swung by to say hello and was very welcoming.
THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE BREAD for their sandwiches
Almost every place in Miami are with the VEGAN trend but do not offer GF options to celiac patients like myself
What a Hidden gem I just found! Cozy place, loved the wings, tried the patatas bravas, and the GF Lamb sandwich and everything was amazing
We came again to watch the soccer Game (Champions League)
They have full bar and very cold beers
Ask for Sole in the bar
Axel was amazing! He made sure the whole meal was perfect and totally gluten free. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area. Had the Wagyu, oysters and a wonderful sorbet dish. Really could not have asked for a better night. The restaurant being located in the Four Seasons gave me an idea of the level of service we would receive but they really blew me away!
What a great restaurant The Henry,
First time in this place and it did not leave me indifferent.
I want to start this review by saying that I have celiac disease, which is important for what I will tell you soon.
I went to this place, without much expectation, because my disease makes it very difficult for me to trust in GF food.
But my waiter Alberto and the team of the Henry, went out of their way to make sure I could enjoy a delicious dish (Korean steak with rice) made with love and definitely GF!
Thank you The Henry for the hospitality
and for making me feel safe, I will definitely be back soon!
The manager Melissa was super accessible and went above and beyond for my gluten allergy. Good food variety of food, lots of tvs with sports (for my husband) and fun music! My husband had the Chicken bacon ranch sandwich and said it was fantastic! Thank you for taking care of us!
We had a great time! Our server Anne was amazing! We were celebrating my son’s birthday and she did everything to make it super special and kept giving him special surprises throughout the night that he loved !
She also was great with my gluten allergy. She made sure everything was perfect for me since I was the only one with the gluten allergy at the table .
Highly recommended her and the melting pot !
It's a very scenic and romantic spot. We had brunch today, the menu is very small, not many options for a vegetarian gluten free diet. I got an egg and cauliflower dish, it was delicious. Also, I was told the French toast was amazing and the pancakes were good. The mimosas were refreshing as well.
Came here for a Private Gathering of Masterminds with “The Collective” & had the most amazing service. I’m allergic to wheat/gluten & Ignacia was so attentive in ensuring I was aware of every course that I was able to eat or not.
She even went the extra mile to ensure I had a gluten free pasta & sorbet desert with pudding.
I would highly recommend coming here for group events as they appear to really take pride in service & taking care of their guests.
My favorites were the Hamachi Crudo, Buratta with fig, Coconut Crab Cake, & Branzino.
The Lychee mocktail was also refreshing!
If you are a sports fan, you will feel right at home here, as there are more than 10 screens with different sports and a large one in the center of the venue to enjoy it better.
The prices are reasonable and there is a wide variety of beers on tap to taste along with silver as well as tacos, burgers, hot dogs, ... very good.
We were served by a Spanish-speaking waitress who was very attentive and kind to us, and took a great interest in the two celiacs in the family so that they could have a good lunch. Quite a success!
Manual was our server of our large group! He took great care ,to be sure I received my gluten free meal! Delicious Manual! Thank you! You’re awesome! We all enjoyed our meals & drinks !
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Naked Taco is a must-visit! The food is consistently amazing, and the service, especially with Lily, is top-notch. We always ask for Lily to be our server and will only sit with her because she makes the experience so enjoyable. I have celiac disease and am lactose intolerant, and they always go above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restrictions without any hassle. Their attention to detail makes dining here stress-free. Highly recommend the birria tacos — they're packed with flavor and never disappoint!
The service was exceptional. Alexander was my server and explain the menu to me gracefully. The entire staff was so accommodating and the food was so yummy. There are many gluten-free options. Highly recommended!
I came to Casablanca on the Bay with girlfriends for brunch. We had the BEST time!! Not only is the restaurant beautiful, but the drinks were delicious, the waitstaff was so friendly and fun and the music really added to the ambience! What really stood out was that when I ordered my food and told the waiter I have a gluten allergy, the chef himself came out to our table to talk to me and reassure me that my meal would be cooked on a different surface and that different cooking and serving utensils would be used.
I cant wait to come back again!
From my stars it seems as though I thought less of the food. Certainly not the case. First the negative, I ordered a sashimi assortment , not and appetizer but a full order. I have ordered this in NYC, NC and here is south Florida at many places and when it arrives at the table it has always been an assortment..12 to 18 prices and a wide eclectic amount. At Tanka, this is not the case, it was 6 small pieces, 2 each of Tuna, Salmon and Hamachi. That btw, is $36.00. This is absurd especially if you are familiar with sashimi orders and a fan of such. Then for a place so sophisticated they do need to expand their gluten free choices. And there is guten free soy sauce and tamari sauce they can use. This can be very beneficial.
Now other than that, the service was tops. Everyone from front to the table was very knowledgeable and very understanding as well as delightful. We had a salt and pepper calamari, gluten free flour substitute, it was excellent. Spicy shrimp on a skewer and bac choy[not sure how that is spelt] and that was very flavorful and the quantity was perfect! I will certainly go again just never order the Japanese again. I am sure there are other wonderful delights of the menu.
As someone with celiac, it’s always difficult to find good, safe places to eat. We made sure to specify to staff our dietary restrictions and had great food! We started with the tetra de ceviche, which was essentially a ceviche flight! I was going to get the tacu tacu de aji de gallina, but our server informed us it was not gluten free, and instead offered to have the chef make a plate of carne with a side of white rice or mixed vegetables. My food came out with a great sized, delicious steak and vegetables, and I really enjoyed it here. No options marked gluten free (GF), but still great and did not get glutened by this place! Food was great!!
