Spoleto

Big shout out to Jillian who was the best server I've had in a long time. Since it was not crowded, Jillian offered me a 4 top (even though I was alone) at one of the fire tables, which was perfect outdoor dining for a chilly evening. Jillian was attentive and so personable as to border on downright charming, and timed things perfectly so that my sangria arrived with my gluten free pizza. This may seem like a small thing (and I know I am picky!), but when I ask servers to bring my drink at the same time the food arrives, it almost never happens. They wait until the food is "up" and then order the drink. As a result, the food is cold by the time the drink arrives. Not Jillian! By requesting the drink ahead of time, Jillian brought it all at once, which I really appreciated. And kudos to the chef and the bartender because every sip of sangria and every bit of pizza (with homemade marinara) was superb. Thank you Jillian and Spoleto for a wonder meal and a lovely evening.

The Gluten-free Bolognese is delicious. The serving size was large enough for me to have the rest for lunch. Additionally the Caprese ....the best!
