This is really well done local Mexican food. They are also almost entirely gluten-free, which is a bonus for my wife. Owners are very friendly, and they have tasty margaritas
This multi-generation family-run business is always welcoming and - most importantly - has amazing food!
India House has many vegan and gluten free options for those with these dietary restrictions. We drive to Northampton from Brattleboro, VT to eat at India House each time we visit the area. Even our 10 month old loved his first experience with Indian cuisine at India House!
We love the pakora, Chana saag, Makhni daal, and the Jackfruit Biryani (among many other dishes)! Can’t wait to visit again!
Went here for the first time in a number of years, craving their gyro pizza, which was still fantastic. Only reason I didn't give a 5 star is that their menus list a number of things as gluten free that we were told after are not gluten free. The menu needs to be updated to reflect that accurately so someone doesn't eat something they shouldn't.

I visited today and just wanted to thank them for their kindness and consideration! It can be difficult to eat outside safely with celiac disease. This place has a gluten free and a vegetarian menu. The food was SO good. Service was so kind! Thank you for the great experience!
Honestly, I love this place! The food is fabulous and the family that runs it are some of the most delightful people around. If you’re gluten-free, this is a definite gem! As far as atmosphere, it’s chill and it’s not a fancy atmosphere. It’s casual and almost like you’re in somebody’s house.
I love Nourish, they are my go-to when I want something healthy but has tons of flavor. Yes, they are on the pricey side, but for the quality that you are getting (all organic, super fresh, great portion size) you would not be able to find a better price. I love the Harvest Bowl (the butternut squash is out of this world) and their seasonal smoothies are delicious. The space is so cute and there's always plenty of seating available. Make sure to sign up for their rewards to collect points toward free drinks or bowls! Tons of gluten free and vegan options!
I absolutely *loved* my time here! Yesterday was my first time in Northampton, and a longtime friend brought my mom and I to this restaurant--I know that 110% I will be returning to come here the next time I visit. I loved the ambiance and warmth of the restaurant and from those that worked within it, and the food was amazing.
I was lucky to have an absolute sweetheart of a server named Chad, and he was so bubbly and charming. He even memorized our order without writing it down which is very impressive because we even had a gluten allergy and stuff like that to be noted! I can be indecisive on what I want to eat and he guided me to an option that I ended up loving. 10/10 would have him as a server again. He was super attentive and kind, and as a fellow server, he is the type of person I would love to work with. Ah, if only I lived not an hour away, haha.
Owners of this restaurant, take good care of him! Don't take someone like him for granted because he is genuinely wonderful. Seriously.
Chad > most servers I've worked with
Busy little place, food is incredible, generous portions, vegetarian & gluten free options. Took drinks outside, relaxed & enjoyed the quiet side street ambience while waiting for our food, definitely worth the wait. Staff, though clearly super busy on a holiday weekend, were friendly & eager to be helpful. Staff seem eager to help each other too, very nice to witness!!
I have very mixed feelings about Haymarket. It's a nice, quaint little cafe with a lot of personality. Feels very Noho. One of my favorite places in the area and one of my least favorite.
Sometimes, I've gone here and everything is perfect. Like when it's good, it's really good. Their food can be some of the best in the area. Other times, i've gone in to staff who don't seem to know anything about the cafe, waiting for food for way to long, hearing a fire alarm and getting burnt mac and cheese.
downstairs dining area is kind of a mess. Stay upstairs, better vibe unless you want something quieter.
Give the place a try, your results may vary. Give it a few tries honestly, it's just really inconsistent.
They do gluten free pasta, call ahead to see if they have it and save yourself some time. Although I have called ahead, been told they do and when i get in, they're out of it. Have requested food be prepared for someone's gluten allergy and the kitchen still contaminated the food with gluten and person I had ordered for got sick.
Local burger serves easy, quality, crave-worthy food in a cute and casual atmosphere. I really appreciate the option of grass fed patties and gluten free buns. I love having local burger as a quick and delicious option!
Really was looking for a sit down dinner on a Sunday. Most places were not open. Saw this cute space looked online and the sandwiches looked good.👍 IT WAS EXCELLENT! Even the gluten free sandwich was a winner. The foam on the top was the decaf cappuccino was decadent ☕️!!!!
If I lived in the area, I would absolutely be a regular here. The pho is delicious and comforting, and I especially appreciated that all the bean sprouts and basil were super fresh and crisp. The menu also had good options for vegetarians, which can be tricky at Vietnamese restaurants. Plenty of gluten-free options, though the cha goi wrappers are wheat (and noted as such on the menu). The staff was knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and allergies — we had gluten, dairy, soy, and nut allergies in our party and felt confident about ordering and eating here. Highly recommend!
Ordered the special birria tacos. They were delicious! I also got a watermelon margarita which was pretty good. Gluten free options were labeled on the menu with a red diamond which I didn’t see until after I ordered. Vegetarian options were also easily available. Lots of options- very big menu!
What a wonderful lunch and perfect location as travelers from route 91! We each had something different! Everything was very fresh, prepared to order, and very flavorful! The babaganosh sandwich on lavash was delicious with the right amount of "kick" as was the falafel sandwich on pita, with warm, delicate falafel and chilled vegetables. The kabab with rice pilaf was a great abd tasty option for gluten free. The Morocan mint tea was a nice compliment as were the locally made soda, that sweetened with sugar cane and not too sweet. We were sad when the food was gone but so happy that we had had such an enjoyable meal and accidental discovery!
This is a nice restaurant and all expected good food. Appetizers were good (potato cakes and cauliflower). We had to ask for soda and water refills. Salads were fine but nothing special. My own wedge salad with shrimp didn’t arrive until the other entrees and it had brown lettuce and blackened shrimp that had gotten cold, even under a heat lamp. Others had lamb rack, pasta, and beef that they liked. The tips and shrimp I was sharing with a friend arrived with scallops and had to be remade. The kitchen did turn it quickly, and timing suggests that this was the dish with gluten contamination. Once entrees were served, our server mostly disappeared, too. When someone has a severe allergy, whether it be hay fever or gluten or latex, there is no excuse for a store exposing a customer to it through carelessness. Even more, it may reflect the overall care in food handling for all diners.
This is a pricey place. You may have a good experience, like some of my group. You may be sick for 2 days, like me. If you have an allergy and are considering eating here, just ask yourself, “Do I feel lucky?”
I will not ever return.
Small space, tastefully arranged & decorated. Nice surrounding Latin music. The BEST tasting, LARGE SELECTIION of toppings. Stress on variety of healthy food. Individual gluten free available. Reasonably PRICED. I will return. Good experience.
I ordered the roasted duck soup with flat noodles and a mango tea which was good. My husband ordered the spicy beef noodles and Thai tea- I wish I got what he had! It was absolutely delicious. Both meals were amazing. The server had great recommendations. Gluten free and vegetarian options are easy to find.

There hasn’t been a single item I have eaten so far that hasn’t been absolutely delicious. For a gluten free option, try the ABBA sandwich on cheese bread. Scrumptious!! The staff is also very helpful at describing all the chef’s wonderful creations. Wanna wake up your taste buds?? Bring them to Ana Bandeira!! 🤩
This is the best place ever. Been coming my whole life for gluten free pizza and they never disappoint. Something about their crust is perfectly thin and sweet. Love the small cozy vibe of this joint . My grandma used to go on dates here so I always feel like a part of history eating there. Go see for yourself, and get the cheesy garlic bread!!!!
One of our favorite places. Great espresso and treats. Their salads and sandwiches are amazing! Slightly higher prices on meal items but the portions are sizable and soooo good. All vegan options and a few gluten free items. The gf fruit bar is very good!
Absolutely delightful! All the vegan and gluten-free options are clearly marked. The staff is friendly. The food is beautiful. The salad is delicious. All of the vegetables were perfectly cooked and tasty which is a rarity that I truly appreciate. The chocolate cake was spectacular. I highly recommend it.
I liked my first visit at Toasted! It's in the former Sylvesters space... Very nice waitstaff... sit at a table or at the bar... I had hash and eggs and it was spot-on :)) Good coffee and they have Gluten free options!
I was disappointed with my experience at this diner. It was extremely loud and crowded, and once we were seated we didn’t get waited on for at least 30 minutes,
I ordered a breakfast plate with gluten free bread and made sure to say it was an allergy. Then when the food finally came after out after another very long wait they had messed up and put regular bread on top of my plate instead of the gluten free. So that contaminated the entire plate of food. Luckily for me I asked if it was gluten free before I ate anything and they took it back. Unfortunately for me they rushed to make my food again and everything was undercooked and kinda gross. It wouldn’t have been a problem if they just kept the bread separate instead of tossing it ontop of all the other food.
I’m not confident that they wouldn’t make that same mistake again and when it’s a food allergy that would make me sick, I just don’t think it’s worth going again.
A friend and I are trying out new restaurants each month, I had seen a film that involved ramen cookery, and Yokohama ramen had opened fairly recently, so we gave it a try. Spoiler! We plan to go back. Our server was friendly and helpful, very willing to answer questions about unfamiliar menu items. We ordered two appetizers to share, yaki-gyoza, fried dumplings similar to pot-stickers, and I forget the other, but we enjoyed both. We each chose a ramen main dish, mine with a misu broth, my friend's with a chicken broth. We both had regular (wheat) noodles, but rice noodles are also available if you need to avoid gluten. Each dish has several vegetables, plus half a boiled egg and a slice of chashu (braised pork belly or chicken) for protein. Suffice to say that these ramen dishes were nothing like the packaged stuff we know from the grocery store. Filling and satisfying! We finished the meal with mochi ice cream flavored with green tea, black sesame, mango and coconut. (We could each have up to two flavors, which like the appetizers, we shared, so that we both got to taste as many items as we could. As I said earlier, we do plan to return. Our server was happy to split our check between two credit cards, but we left our tip in cash, to be sure there was no delay in her getting it.
i got the sushi rice with salmon, kani salad seaweed salad, kimchi….absolutely delicious.
another perk: im celiac and lactose intolerant and i told them my allergies and they were knowledgeable and i didn’t get any reactions. very pleased!
The food tastes good and many gluten free options are available. The portions however are very small for the price of the food, especially the pad thai. The specialty drinks are outrageously expensive given they are served in an extremely small glass. I try not to exaggerate; my drink was finished in 4 sips. Additionally service seems to be lacking. Our party of 2 got a few dishes to split and we were never given plates nor an knives (?) until we had to ask. Overall the food is good however Thai Thai severely lacks in other areas.
Fantastic new addition to the Northampton restaurant scene. Great food, super friendly staff, service is quick and efficient. Atmosphere dining in is very chill and cozy.
As for the menu, the sushi is very good. Selection of rolls is smaller compared to Moshi Moshi, but what they do, they do really well. The star is definitely the hiachi though. I've had Chicken and Beef and Shrimp and both were amazing. One order is easily enough food for two people, we always have leftovers.
It's also very kid-friendly. While there is no kids menu there are a lot of kid friendly favorites in the appetizers, like chicken fingers, scallion pancakes and fried dumplings. Some of the sides, like noodles would also make a good entree for a little one.
They also do their hibachi gluten free! And they have gluten free soy sauce.
I'm always excited when a new place opens in Northampton. This is one of our new favorite spots already!

This little vegan coffee/lunch spot is tucked on the lower level of Thorne's, right next to Cornocopia! They have the BEST grab and go lunch options, and there are always gluten free options as well! Incredibly delicious and unique flavors you won't find elsewhere, and their baked goods are out of this world. They also have great iced chai and lemonade! If you get there early enough they usually have hand pies and focaccia! Everything is vegan! I can't recommend them enough!!
