Summer House

Everything went well until I purchased the gluten free labeled chocolate chip cookie at the front of the restaurant as we were leaving. I have a lot of food allergies and I was excited to see a GF cookie option. However, I began eating the cookie on my drive home and I immediately started to feel sick, which meant the cookie WASNT gluten free. I rushed home to get to my medication

I've found my favorite place to eat in Las Vegas. We've been vacationing in Las Vegas for 29 years. We go at least twice a year so I feel like I've eaten at so many restaurants on and off the strip that are good, nothing spectacular but enjoyable. Summer House is SPECTACULAR!! The ambiance of this restaurant is sheer perfection. It's open, airy spacious and just looks clean. It has lots of natural light, beautiful green plants with wood and black iron accents. OK, it reminds me of my house which is why I probably like it so much, so it just feels like home. I found Summer House while using the Find Me Gluten Free App. My oldest son has Celiac's disease. We stay on the strip and it is a bit of drive to Durango but WELL worth it. We ate there for the first time on a Friday. Then went back Saturday and Monday! We had already been in Vegas for 9 days with only 4 to go! If we would have known about Summer House we quite possibly could have eaten here everyday! They have several deliciously prepared Gluten Free Menu items. My son was so happy to eat Chicken Tenders and French fries, Pepperoni Pizza and Pasta! Yes, he ordered all 3 and ate all of it. We also ordered Dream Puffs, Spaghetti w/meatballs (not gf), Lobster Enchiladas, Skirt Steak Tacos, Fish Tacos, Potato Salad deviled eggs, Jalapeño Cornbread, Gluten free Brownie, Chocolate Chip cookie and lemon, snickerdoodle and salted chocolate chip cookie (which were not Gluten free. I didn't try any of the cookies myself as I have a peanut allergy and there are peanut butter cookies inside the same display case with the other cookies. We ate all of this over our 3 visits and can't wait to return to try more of the options offered on their menu. Our server Cristi was so NICE and sweet. She was very patient as we ordered so much. Emily, one of the managers, was very professional and kind. We watched her stop at every table to check on them as she made her way through the restaurant and the patio. We also had other servers stop and ask if we needed anything. It was so nice!! DEFINITELY returning. I'm so glad we drive our own vehicle all the way from Texas which allows us to explore more of Vegas and Summer House is a true GEM and wonderfully DELICIOUS find!!!
