Checked out Tatta Chulha, which specializes in Rajasthan vegetarian cuisine.
Service was okay but they never brought any refills to our table after they offered. The thali claims to offer 15+ options but really it's a couple of small dishes with rice, three breads, two desserts and a drink.
- Lemon ($3.99) - freshly squeezed with a subtle salty note. Wasn't impressed that they double charged our table.
- Masala chaas - default drink that comes with the thali. Savoury drink that smells like boiled eggs, tastes like raita.
- 2x Royal regular thali ($24.99) - carb centric. The three breads are plain and heavy. Bun was hearty and dense. Best things were the spicy panchmel dal and peas & carrots. Everything else was unmemorable.
- Royal gluten-free thali ($26.49) - beware, you get less items with no replacements. Her favourites were the deep fried lentil fritters and peas & carrots. Other items were bland.
Did not find the thalis worth the $25+ price point. 2.5 stars.
