The Boundary House Restaurant

This is a gluten allergy reviewer. They have a gluten free menu upon request. They have nice selection, a gluten free potato bun which was delicious. I got the burger which was really good. Our server was amazing, super attentive and helpful. The biggest issue I have is the substitution cost for the gluten free meals. Fries comes with the burgers but they are not gluten free so we have to choose between the options they have for us. It still costs for the substitution which is $4. It just seems weird. The wait was ridiculous but at no fault of the restaurant, just people not leaving as quick estimated. We did wait 2 hrs for a party of 8 on a Thursday so just be prepared and I suggest making a reservation which can only be made before 4 pm if it's day of.

Jennifer at the Bar and our Server Jenna E were amazing! Prime rib was delicious! The mashed sweet potato was okay, just note it’s much sweeter than a plain mashed. They do have a gluten free menu, though!

We were visiting North Carolina last week and tried several restaurants in that area. Because we are on detox we were picky to find a place that could accommodate our new diet. Day before thanksgiving , We came accros Boundry House and were served by Kristi R. To say we had an excellent service is an understatement. Kristi were out of her way to make us feel good about our choices. She didn’t hesitate to figure out with us what we could or not eat. The fish was amazing. We had side veggies which were cooked perfectly. This was a great experience because we usually get the weird eyes once we say we are gluten free and dairy free. And ask does this have sugar in? She took our order with a big smile and made us felt as ease. Truly recommend if you want quality food and even better service !!!!
