The atmosphere is a nice experience. Every staff member was super welcoming and happy to help. The biscuits and whipped potatoes were very good, but a friend and I shared 2 entrees: a shrimp & scallop pasta and a salmon dish. Neither of us finished the shrimp because it was overcooked. Our expectations were high because of the restaurant's reputation, but the main courses did not live up to that at all. I should've said something at the time because our server tried hard to help, but I didn't want to be difficult. Another friend at the table had said she is gluten-free and still was served a sauce with her steak that had gluten. The server was very apologetic, but it was surprising that there was no alternative other than "we weren't supposed to bring out the sauce."

We really enjoyed the restaurant! We especially loved hearing the history and feeling like we were going back in time for the evening and eating amazing food, they also accommodated my girlfriend’s gluten, dairy and soy allergies. - My only gripe is that they did not enforce a dress code or make any effort to remind other guests to watch their behavior. We asked to move to another room due to an obnoxiously loud table. After waiting for what seemed like forever we were eventually moved. I usually don’t complain about things like this but these folks were actually very noisy, to the point where it actually was hurting our eardrums, and they seemed very rude. We felt like we dressed up nicely only to go to what felt more like a rowdy pub rather than a fine dining establishment. I hope to come back and have a better experience next time and hopefully the management might help address disruptive guests like this in the future so others will have a more comfortable experience :)

Wow, just wow. I've visited Savannah many times and could never snag a reservation—until now. Fortunately, I managed to get one at 10 PM, and it was well worth the wait. The experience was exceptional, with top-notch service, a wonderful meal, and excellent mixed drinks (and I'm very picky). The setting is stunning; this historic mansion is a must-see. One of the things I love most about Savannah is the way they preserve these historic buildings, and this one is no exception. The prices were surprisingly reasonable for the level of experience we had. We started with the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, and even though I'm not usually a fan, these were fantastic. They thoughtfully brought gluten-free items for my child, who has dietary restrictions. The complimentary biscuits were absolutely delicious. My son had the salmon—5 stars! I had the flounder—5 stars! And my husband had the pecan-crusted chicken with collard greens—another 5 stars! The spicy margarita was also excellent. Do not miss out on The Olde Pink House when you visit Savannah!
