Wow, just wow. I've visited Savannah many times and could never snag a reservation—until now. Fortunately, I managed to get one at 10 PM, and it was well worth the wait. The experience was exceptional, with top-notch service, a wonderful meal, and excellent mixed drinks (and I'm very picky). The setting is stunning; this historic mansion is a must-see. One of the things I love most about Savannah is the way they preserve these historic buildings, and this one is no exception.
The prices were surprisingly reasonable for the level of experience we had. We started with the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, and even though I'm not usually a fan, these were fantastic. They thoughtfully brought gluten-free items for my child, who has dietary restrictions. The complimentary biscuits were absolutely delicious. My son had the salmon—5 stars! I had the flounder—5 stars! And my husband had the pecan-crusted chicken with collard greens—another 5 stars! The spicy margarita was also excellent.
