Treylor Park Double Wide Diner

Came in for breakfast on our way out of town. Food was really delicious. Kids had chocolate chip pancakes, wife had an omelette and I had the skillet. Waitress highlighted what was gluten free on the menu for the wife. Great experience and would go there again

Had higher hopes for this place, but not what I expected at all. We came on a Sat. morning and though it was not particularly busy, it took more than 12-15 minutes just to get our coffee... (Ordered 3, got 2). I understand places are short-staffed these days, so was willing to overlook that one. We ordered 2 orders of single pancakes with strawberry on top, but when they made it, it was a stack with compote sandwiched in between. However, once the chef was told it was a single order each, he just moved one pancake to a new plate...so one pancake was smothered in compote and the other had only about a nickel size amount on it and was soggy on the bottom. Still got charged $2 for extra fruit. The Chef just seemed disinterested in working. The omelette we ordered was just stuffed with cheese and had the toppings we ordered sprinkled on top... Not mixed in as one would expect. Lastly ordered the potato 'crisps'...oddly the hash browns were crisper. After a while these became just flexible fries. Lastly, if you are gluten-averse, you are out of luck. Savannah is full of great restaurants... Especially in the waterfront area. But this one missed the mark badly for me.
