Our first visit to Vermont in a long whole for my wife and I and the first place we visited for dinner was The Whip, and we could not have been more pleased and satisfied with our experience. Excellent service, excellent food. Many Gluten Free and Dairy Free choices, very accommodating and the food is great. My wife who does not share the same dietary restrictions absolutely loved dining here. I highly recommend.

My wife is gluten free. They have GFA on the menu items that can be prepared as gluten free. For a hamburger, which is what she ordered, they are supposed to serve it with a gluten free bun. In our case they used a regular bun! We questioned the waiter a second time to make sure it was gluten free and he confirmed it was. On the way out I saw another burger with the same bun at which point I asked for a manager. Sure enough her burger was served with the wrong bun. This can make my wife sick for weeks! I was mad, the manager said “sorry what can we do”, I should have asked for the bill to be comp. The manager never offered this.
